Kakashi has 4pts - was fodderized by MS genjutsu
Orochimaru has 5pts - was fodderized by MS genjutsu

Jiraiya has only 3pts.......

Itachi/Sasuke fodderizes him in one page.

Thats why Jiraiya never met MS user in the real death match. Kishi saved his ass cuz it would be even worse than with deidara. Thank you kishi.

It's just these threads are pretty much the same thing. Itachi > Jiraiya or vice-versa. It's a snowball effect.
But to answer your thread, yes, Jiraiya cannot counter something like Tsukuyomi if he gets hit by it.

You are using ABC logic so let me do the same then, Oro has knowlegde on genjutsu and Jiraiya has none he said it himself. Pein has nothing to do with this, MS/genjutsu user is worst matchup for Jiraiya.

Itachi only used 3 tomoe sharingan genjutsu on Orochimaru & Deidara , but he used Tskuyomi on Kakashi & Sasuke.
