Reread chapter 4 and I noticed something. Look at the little minion thing as it uses the space-time ninjutsu. It has an eye IDENTICAL to Shin's. Except it's clear the cloaked man is controlling it. So is Shin a clone or something? Something is definitely going on... or Kishi screwed up when drawing it.

Shin is short for shinju. The lil juubi thing is the son of the juubi which came from the shinju tree that of which was planted by Shin the Garderner eons ago
