Azuma stepped forwards, further into the tall, moist grass which spread out as far as the eye could see. The day was just on the cusp of sunrise, so morning dew was all about the place. Despite this though, the thick clouds above and the mist below obscured said rising sun, lending the environment a somewhat dark and dreary quality. It certainly helped set the stage for what was about to occur, at least. This was because about 10 meters away from him stood a man who he was all-too familiar with. The man who had awakened the boy's Sharingan, taught him who he truly was;

Magnus Uchiha.

Azuma hadn't seen the man in well over a year but regardless of how much the green haired boy had improved over that time, he was certain Magnus was still leagues more powerful. He'd been invited to a fight by the man as a way of checking up on his progress.

Fair enough, I guess. There aren't all too many Uchiha left.

Regardless, Azuma knew ahead of time that he had to come into this fight with a plan, and needed to start all-out from the beginning of the fight if he wanted a chance of even touching the man. Glancing up towards the older Uchiha, the boy closed his eyes for a brief moment before allowing them to fill with red and three tomoe, indicating the activation of his Sharingan.

Even wordlessly, he knew that Magnus was passing judgement on him with every second he wasted; he expected power from somebody of his clan. Well, the green-haired boy was eager to please, and so for once, he finally decided to let loose.

The boy stared daggers at Magnus, his glare piercing and his determination completely evident.

"I hope you know I've changed."

With that, he made six handseals and clapped his hands together. Soon, rain began to fall from the clouds above. Azuma could feel everything these raindrops touched, just in case his eyes didn't do the job for him. He then sent even MORE chakra into the clouds above, causing this rain to condense into a bullet-like projectile directly above Magnus' head. This would fall down at a rapid speed and hit him like a very hard rock.

The boy walked forwards a few feet, as if to make a point, maintaining his gaze on the man, prepared to react at any given notice.

One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill
Note: C rank usage is for 1T Sharingan, B rank usage is reserved for 2T Sharingan. A Rank usage is reserved for 3T Sharingan.

Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake handseals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

As i said, i'd help you by evaluating your moves as we fight. And so we shall begin:

  1. It's good that you kept track of your chakra, health, tracking etc, makes for better perception of the fight itself.
  2. Your opening move is too passive. Great that your sharingan is passive but you're using a supplementary move in making it rain. You leave yourself wide open for attack. You need to apply pressure if you want to fight competitively
  3. With no pressure being applied, all's you've done is show me you want to rely on rain release. My first port of call, would be to remove the clouds, prevent the rain and stop a part of your arsenal.
Advice:
  1. Your first action (Not including passive shit like sharingan), should be to apply a form of pressure, a form of offensive action to put me in a situation where i have to defend in one way or form. This stops me from taking advantage early on.
  2. When you attack, think about how i'm going to counter it. If you shoot a fireball directly at me, chances are, i'd counter with water, probs over power you and attack you in one sweep move, rendering your entire move futile. Instead think of an attack i can't just send at you.
Now:
  • Make another try at a first move with the above in mind. Have a plan and aim to take control.

Immediately after this, the boy clapped both of his hands to the ground, opening a portal 15 meters directly above the older Uchiha. From this portal came a tremendous amount of water, its shadow largely hidden due to the overcast coloration of the sky. Still, his opponent was an Uchiha, and would likely be able to discern the attack regardless via his sharingan. The good news was, the water was largely a red herring.

As such, Azuma immediately began a follow up. After a brief sequence of handseals, a well of lightning formed directly beneath Magnus' feet. This well would then explode upwards into a giant column of searing white electricity. Regardless of whether the water hit or not, the point was to put that attack into the forefront of Magnus' worries so that the more dangerous Telegram Flash could hit as well or instead of the water.

Water Release - Stormy Blockade
(Suiton: Haran Banshō) - Water Release: Stormy Blockade

Description: The user will slam their hands against then ground allowing him/her to summon a massive amount of water from the sky, crushing it into the opponent. If needed, the user can cancel the technique in an instant.

Note: The water needs to be summoned at least 10 meters above the opponent to have any real effect.

Lightning Release - Telegram Flash

Description: After doing the Rabbit → Rat → Horse → Ram handseals, the user will slam his hand on the ground and release into it a massive amounts of lightning chakra which will then pool beneath his opponent before releasing itself into a gigantic column of lightning which shocks anything caught above it. The technique can affect a bigger or smaller area depending on the users will.

The technique can affect a bigger or smaller area depending on the users will.
A much better move. Something from above, an attack from below.

For my reply, lets say i drop my leg weights and try rush you that way. Outrunning both your attacks, and coming at you with say a B rank kick boosted by the leg weights. In the process i use passive 3t too.

What you gonna do?
See how i countered both attacks though, by coming forwards, need think on that in the future... alright?

Okay, so, to respond to your critique; yeah, the forward motion is something I could probably deal with through the application of some sort of hazard. Maybe stone spikes in the first post, or world shaking if I was acting in response to the drop of your leg weights. This would stunt your balance long enough for the water to hit you, and if you replied to that somehow (Earth Armor, something that didn't need handseals, etc.), Telegram Flash would probably hit you and damage you. I would be able to do this because of my Sharingan's predictive abilities and my incredibly high reaction speed, far surpassing the boost provided by the Leg Weights (in terms of being able to see you, I mean).

As for my reply to your attack:

With some quick thinking and this information in mind, Azuma tapped his right foot against the ground, releasing Doton-infused chakra into the earth and sending out a shockwave beneath the dirt that lay in front of him.

The shaking created by this shockwave would immediately throw off his opponent's attempt to dash forwards, causing them to stumble in place, or perhaps just a few feet forwards. Within that moment, the Telegram Flash would go off, hitting the man dead on, and causing the water above to largely be evaporated into harmless steam. With this opportunity, Azuma focused on his eyes once more, causing them to evolve a single stage further. Upon opening them, in the place of his three tomoe Sharingan was a different design, one characterized by an altered Saga symbol, with each oval of the symbol containing one of the tomoe from beforehand.

Mangekyō.

Soon after, as the column began to fade, Azuma would quickly hone in on his opponent with his right eye, focusing on the man's likely stunned form, specifically his right arm. A single word resonated throughout Azuma's brain as he did this, calling upon a seemingly ancient power.

Amaterasu.

Within what felt like a shard of a moment, Magnus' arm set alight with a pitch-black flame. Azuma winced as blood seeped from the corner of his eye, pain shooting through his body at the exertion. It was the first time he'd ever used the Amaterasu in combat, but hopefully, it would keep Magnus on the backfoot.

Even he can't keep fighting before dealing with that.

Then, as the flames set upon their target, the clouds above began to rain down upon the battlefield. This wouldn't stop the fire, obviously, but to say the least, it was a boon the green-haired boy appreciated.

Descripton: One of the basic techniques awoken with MS, Amaterasu is the ability to ignite the undying black flames. The jet-black flames of the Amaterasu, said to be the fires from hell that are as hot as the sun, ignite at the focus of the user's vision. This dispiction is somewhat linked to the fact that, because of the damage produced in ones eyes, as the user closes his eyes and prepares to use Amaterasu, tears of blood flow through his face. The black flames lack momentum and impact (being unable to break through strong solid inert defenses) but have a very high parasitic ability, spreading through anything that comes in contact with them and consuming with enormous ease, any type of fire. Though the flames have been stated to be unavoidable (since they are not a projectile but "happen" on focal point), this has been proven as false. While quite hard to avoid, its been proven that ninjas with enhanced speed and reactions (such as Third and Fourth Raikage in Lightning Armor) when facing the user can move out of the focal point before the flames actually ignite. This is related to the somewhat slow ignition and burn of the flames. While they burn for 7 days, can't be doused and are hard to avoid, they spread and burn through the target slowly. Also, its been noticed that Dojutsu users (3 Tomoe Sharingan, Rinnegan, Byakugan) and skilled chakra sensors can see/feel the overflow and increasing chakra pressure in the eye, right before Amaterasu is used, but that in itself is not enough to dodge or block it, as target would need to move faster than the user can focus his eye on it. Another thing that has been shown capable of blocking Amaterasu are "sentient" automated defenses, like Gaara's sand shield. By coming between the user and his target, a fast enough defense can block the intended focal point (the enemy) and defend him from the black flames, as long as its tangible and completely blocks the users line of sight.

When you make a move, as you plan it out, think how you'd counter it, that way you can fill in the gaps and keep the pressure.

Nice touch in the move with the world shadking but you didn't capitalise on me being off balance. While i'm falling, then hit with the spikes you mentioned, take control in that moment, forces me to be defending. By activating MS i can find a way to counter your MS activation.

For example, perception, i perceive the fall, with that i can get off a shot of something as a fall, lets say hurricane fist as i fall, because sharingan things. Hurricane fist is B rank wind that would hit you before MS.

In response to your Hurricane Fist, I recognize the threat via my Sharingan and cease my activation of the Mangekyo. I then clap my hands to the ground, causing, the floor beneath both our feet (10 meters in all directions) to drop 15 feet downwards using Moving Core. As this occurs, with you on the floor and the Hurricane Fist sailing over me, I tap my left foot to the earth, causing four spikes to shoot out of the ground, one on each side of you, using the Stone Bamboo Shoot technique. I then punch forwards with my right arm, throwing a Hurricane Fist of my own in your direction, sure to land if you respond with the usual expected full-body Lightning surge.
