First of all i wud lyk to point out how itachi shud have had perfect uundamaged vision.
Itachi shud have simply used kage bushin to use MS techs, that way he shud have avoided the blindness that followed his foolishness.
Next uchiha brothers shud really just exchange MS's and both will aquire EMS. As simple as that, no need to steal the other's eyes.

1. Kage bunshin will still effect Itachi's eyes..why the heck wouldn't it??
2. We don't really know the procedure for the transplant. As in, we don't know if Sasuke replaced his eyes with Itachi's or whether using some technique, Obito merged them. Same goes with Madara and Izuna.

If Itachi used a clone as soon as the clone was destroyed or dispelled the effects would transfer back to him. I guess it's hard to remember this since Naruto has been spamming shadow clones during the war.

The user suffers the fatigue and effects present in the released clone. That was the reason why Kakashi said Naruto was the only one capable of training using shadow clones, his stamina was able to withstand it. Presumably using MS techniques would be the same. Any damage to the shadow clone would be transferred to the original.

We don't know the procedure for obtaining EMS, although the link below makes it appear like you need some combination of two eyes.

wow i am seeing a lot of ppl addressing the kagebushin loophole, but only one has said anything about the second one? Too scared or just cant say sh*t? Anyway for those who are pointing out that the negetive effects of using MS return to the user when the clone is dispelled i wud like to remind your'l f when hizuren used shiki fujin on hashi and tobirama. When the clones were dispelled the original still seemed intact and did not show signs of fatigue or loss of 2 thirds of a soul. And by the way, if the damage a clone experiences is transfered back to the user once the clone is dispelled then naruto wouldnt have one a singular fight!!! And for those who are gonna try to use stamina as an excuse let me remind you that having stamina is not the same as being able to tank damage, you are only a chackra tank.

Hold on guys! He might actually have a point, think about it - whenever Naruto has used 100s of Kage Bunshin and they've been dispelled, Naruto has never shown to take any of the damage.
