Alright, let's begin with the basics. What is magnetism? What is it based off of in the Naruto world/NB RP? How does magnetism work (a general watered-down statement is fine - think more "what does a magnet do?")? Explain, in your own words, how we replicated this with chakra. Finally, when explaining this "chakra-based magnetism", I want you to come up with how using chakra instead of magnets to create magnetic forces improves on the concept of "magnetism", and what the potential uses of it are.
So, I know people who have different views on this technique... However, I believe that the average Magnet Release requires proper contact to be used, and so I teach this technique in the following way. Reach into a pouch of iron sand (I know you aren't an Iron Sand user, but it'll be alright), and magnetize the sand. Throw the sand into the air, and then quickly adjust the charge on your Iron Sand to make every grain carry the same charge. In that way, the sand will repel itself away from where the little cloud formed, and throw itself everywhere up to mid-range. If the Iron Sand makes contact with a person, you can use that contact to turn that person into a living magnet.(Jishaku Ninpou: Denji Genmu) - Magnetic Ninja Art: Electric Phantasms
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A(all metal thrown at opponent hits them and causes +2 damage for each one that lands)
Description: Turns your opponent into a living magnet.
Not only can we change the strength depending on what we need, but we can also change the polarity of the field depending on what we need. This is key, especially when making customs, as that's not something your average house-hold magnet can do.
Now, surprisingly, the Magnet Release chakra is formed from Earth and Wind natures, and it doesn't use Lightning. As ridiculous as that sounds, NB doesn't follow the cannon, and so you only have to have begun lightning training. Because of that, I'll skip the portion where you mold Jiton and move onto our first jutsu:

So, I'd like you to try it on me with just your sand. In theory, you could use any metallic object to get this effect, but the sand is nice because is spreads everywhere and is relatively difficult to completely protect oneself from. Now once you've performed it, instead of telling me drawbacks or how you'd use it in battle, tell me instead why this technique would be used in battle. Why would someone bother trying to use this?
A very good technique, you begin by channeling your Magnetism chakra through the ground to any spot on the field (though it's best if it's behind your target with respect to you). Then you form your chakra to make small "pockets" of magnetic force, all with the same charge (either positive or negative) in order to cause the portions of earth caught within those fields to push away from each other and break themselves apart from the ground. Now with all of these rocks created by your destructive Magnetic force, you can charge yourself with the opposite charge which all of the rocks have, which draws them towards you, dragging your target with it and crushing him.(Jishaku Ninpou: Mugen Inseki) - Magnetic Ninja Art: Infinite Meteorites

Description: The user will magnetize a spot behind the target ans break up nearby earth. Then the earth will attack the use since he/she is in the filed of he magnetically charged spot.
First of foremost, I'll begin by channeling my Magnetism chakra through the ground, behind my opposing target. Then I'll manipulate my magnetic chakra to form small pockets of magnetic force. When this is done, I would continue and make the pockets of magnetic force with the same charge (Positive) in order to cause the portions of earth within those fields to repel against eachother. Afterwards, I then charge myself with an oppositive charge which draws the charged rocks towards me as well as dragging my opposing target with the rocks and eventually crushing them.Yeah, basically. Because charged objects attract neutral objects, any metallic item without a charge that comes anywhere near the target will be drawn towards them, which is nice for all of those Ninjutsu weapon techniques. This technique can also be used with direct physical contact.

Once you've performed this technique, I'd like you to tell me how you might use it in battle, and what drawbacks this technique might have.
