So, poor Elliot didn't really accomplish anything at the end of season 1. All he did was grant a bunch of people who had bad luck or were irresponsible a second chance to screw up again and Evil Corp is poised to adjust. The people aren't going to learn anything and Evil Corp will fall right back into their place of dominance.
