[Discussion] Mr 3 Trying to kill Ace

Mr.3 switched places with the executioner and he clearly tried to kill Ace before Luffy knocked him out with his haki. After he woke up he never said once why or that he tried to kill him!

Why ? Because as soon as Ace was executed the war more or less would've been over.

Mr. 3 can sneak back into the headquarters and escape.

So he was basically trading his lie against Ace's who was going to be executed either way.
