Most Underrated Characters in the series

These ninja are criminally underrated. I'll explain in short detail why they are boss. Feel free to debate.


I'll start with Torune

This guy has freaking poisonous nano insects that can kill with a touch. Not to mention he was the first person showed to injure the "invincible Obito". (Minato flashback happened afterwards) His bugs eat chakra and Danzo made sure he recruited him to Root. He's badass.

Asuma Sarutobi

Spoiler

Asuma Sarutobi is another one. The only reason people call him fodder is because he died early on. He fought an immortal. And not only did he decapitat him at , he was badass enough that Kabuto revived him as back up for the war. He's a sarutobi whi are noted for being extremely good at jutsu and son of Hiruzen.

Tobirama Senju

I dont know why he's underrated. He was the Minato of his time. Arguably better. He created so many jutsu and the structure of the leaf village includong police force, academy and others. He went toe to toe with Ginkaku and kinkaku and lived. Not to mention he's a senju, killed Izuna and taught Hiruzen.

Konohamaru Sarutobi

Grandson of the3rd Hokage. Pupil of Naruto. He hasnt shown much in the series but he was good enough to k.o.one of Pains bodies with a rasengan. How many people are strong enough to beat a pain? He's a member of the Sarutobi clan as well which means he will be uber powerful when older.

HAGOROMO THE FREAKING SAGE OF SIX PATHS

I dont know how he gets underrated. People put jim underneath Madara. He was able to split the juubi in 9 pieces. Take its corpse, seal it in earth and send it to space to make the moon. He created the freaking moon. He gave Naruto and Sasuke a fraction of his power and they overpowered Madara. A fraction. He was dead, called back every kage that wasnt there and used them to summon back the mains.

Last but not least is
NAGATO

The first rinnegan user shown in the series. He owned two perfect jinchuruki at the same damn time. Almost soloed Km Naruto and Killer bee. Even Itachi. The only reason they escaped CT was because 2 perfect jinchuruki and an EDO Itachi combined attacks. One on one he'd give anyone a run for their money. His six paths of pain tech was enough to decimate the leaf village and kill Lord Jiraiya.

Shikamaru Nara

Expert strategist and the first of the Konoha 11/rookie 9 to become a chunin and take down an Akatsuki member. He soloed Hidan and his strategies are second to only his father, who was the strategist of the Shinobi Alliance. He beat most of his fights without laying a hand on his opponents. Letting his shadow do all the work.

Mei Terumi

The 5th mizukage. She has 2 brutal kekkai genkais that would kill you unless youre saved by a susano'o of Madaras level or more. She easily owned Sasuke and although she is the weakest of the current 5 kage, she still was able to hold her own in the war. She was able to match a a katon user of Madaras level with her suiton. Thats boss.

He's not really underrated. People realize his abilities, he is an incredbly smart and tactical character

but if thats the case you have tobirama on there, some one who is not underrated by your logic. tobirama is a respected member of the NV and known by everyone to be a kage level ninja. if tobirama is underrated i dont see how shikamaru is not either. just my opinion though

Tobirama is underrated. People put him below Tsunade, say hes low kage ranked, he's fodder.

Shikamaru isn't underrated. I'll add him to the list though

Kimimaro, Nagato, Torune, and most of the sound four are pretty underrated. If you come in contact with the sound four together, you had better start running(If you're not a powerful Jounin or higher). They have strong offense and defense, plus strong taijustu and genjutsu users. To top it all off, they can become even more powerful from the Curse Seal.

Tobirama: Practically the king of hax in the series. Invented Edo Tensei, Mutually Multiplying Explosive Tags, and FTG. Just Edo Tensei alone is easily the most broken jutsu in the entire series. Lets you revive not one but multiple individuals that are far more powerful than you, that can still be controlled unless the power gap is just completely massive as was the case with Hashirama and Madara, and gives these individuals perfect regeneration as well as an endlessly replenishing chakra reserve.

Kimimaro: Even while dying he was able to overwhelm hundreds of clones effortlessly, outfight one of the greatest taijutsu users in the series, and nearly kill Gaara despite having some of the most powerful offensive and defensive techniques in the series at the time. Bare in mind he did the first two without even activating his curse seal.

Deidara: Took down sanbi practically by himself. Could almost certainly kill off the majority of a village with C4 alone. Honestly if he wasn't so unnecessarily flashy and showy with his jutsu he would be even scarier than he already is.

Mu: The only reason Gaara was even able to sense him was because he was aware of his presence on the battlefield. Anyone who wasn't already aware they needed to watch out for him would be utterly doomed. Undetectable and able to atomize a massive area, plus he can fly while doing all this, that's just crazy hax. Let's not forget that to most characters in the series, being dealt fatal damage with ordinary weapons is fully capable of killing them, there would be virtually nothing stopping this guy from simply walking right up to your face and stabbing you in the head.

Orochimaru: Setting aside his huge arsenal of snake-based jutsu, the guy has shown to be pretty much impossible to truly kill off, even with totsuka, seriously the guy is like the naruto equivalent of The Thing. Not to mention his signature body replacement that basically lets him say nope to even lost limbs. Living Corpse Reanimation means he can take over the body of kekkei genkai users or anyone else he pleases, with the exception of doujutsu users.

Konan: As I stated in my previous thread, her Paper Ocean technique is truly one of the most absurd showings in the entire series.

Second Mizukage: Not only does he have hydrification technique, which is already hax enough as is, but his version involves oil as well. One of the few characters with the jutsu equivalent to a gun. Very difficult to kill clam summoning that makes him pretty much impossible to kill while active. Joki Boi, pretty broken, continues endlessly, kills you with not only melee but explosions and super-heated steam as well, the mini-clone was faster than Gaara's sand when nearing its exploding point, and it arguably would've never been stopped if the Kazekage hadn't also been revived, giving Gaara gold dust to use. As far as sealing goes, the guy is one slippery bastard, literally, good luck with that.

Jiraiya: Even without sage mode, Toad Mouth Bind, Crushing Toad Stomach, and Toad Goard Prison are some of the most hax techniques in the entire series and I'm pretty positive they are all pretty much entirely overlooked. Not to mention, Toad Flatness - Shadow Manipulation Technique, Hiding in a Frog Technique, and being able to turn people into frogs. Jiraiya's jutsu were seriously pretty broken.
