Itachi he was a great ninja and was considered a genius if you ask me the bigest genius on narutounivers i mean Who the **** would have planed that battle with sasuke and he was anbu capitan at age 13 and had already awaken the mangekyou at age 13 i think if he didn t had disease and killed his clan he could have become stronger than madara

yeh but Kakashi passed even earlier lol and when Itachi beat Kakashi they were older so that dosn't count although Itachi is defenenty on level with Kakashi when they were young, but i still think Kakashi was a little better

Yeh Naruto was actually pretty talented in fighting, but all round wasn't the smartest
this is why i didn't add gaara to the list due to the 1 tail

I think it's Kakashi. Because first of all, he had no advance DNA in his body like Itachi, which helped him a lot to improve his fighting styles. Without all that, he managed to graduate efficiently at 6 as a chunin, at 12 as a jounin, already mastered rasengan when he was younger, created a chidori(S-rank jutsu) at this age. Just creating a jutsu is really impressive(not learning but creating), but creating an S-rank jutsu at 12, wow. After that he receive a 2tomoe sharingan, and without even having a drop of Uchiwa blood in his body, he managed to use it perfectly, progressing it even to 3tomoes, and surpassing even most of Uchiwas by the use of it(even Itachi said that). And in 2years, he even developped MS on his own(even among Uchiwas it's rare).

It could have been also Minato, but he lacks of feats when he was younger. We don't know anything about his past, only that he was a genius that only appear in a decade, and that he managed to beat a group of elite ninjas on his own at just 10(or probably younger) to save Kushina.

After that, i see Itachi. Don't need to explain why he is a genius too
