Most tactical battle in Naruto?

Sasuke vs Danzo? Don't remember exactly how this fight went down, but i think I remember Sasuke doing some smart things.
Team 7 vs Zabuza? I recall that cool Demon Wind Shuriken combo Naruto and Sasuke pulled off.
Any battle where Shikamaru formed a strategy?
Kakashi, Guy, and Naruto vs Tobi? It was so epic when Kakashi Kamui'd Naruto's Rasengan and nailed Tobi for the first time.
Minato vs Tobi?
Naruto, Tobirama, and Minato vs Obito?
Or some other fight?

Sasuke vs Diedara, hands down. It's the definition of "tactical". Others include Kakashi vs Hidan & Kakazu and Sasuke vs Danzo. Sasuke fights in general are very tactical, it's like watching a fight in a detective thriller style movie. Also, the Shikamaru fights are based on pure strategy.

Shikamaru VS Temari utilised tactics from both fighters. The other fights generally had one character using strategies while the others lagged. I'd say Edo Madara VS the Gokage and the Alliance VS the Juubi had a lot of tactical moves.

None of the fights where that tactical in the series. It was mostly gimmicks and clever moves. that goes for the deidara and sasuke fight as well. It was basically, "My lightning counters earth", "My sharingan sees through that"

The closest it gets to was Shikamaru's tactics against kakazu and Hidan (basically any and every fight he's been in). and what necro said.

Shikamaru's feat against Temari is pretty pedestrian compared to Sasuke's in the Forst of Death against Orochimaru. It's not even close. Kakashi has displayed pretty sub-par tactical skills as the Kamui breakdown was done by Sakura 200 chapters back. I would place both Uchiha siblings far above them.

He is? I don't think so, when himself states that he looked up to Sasuke 'in every way imaginable'. Also, he has zero feats to put him above Sasuke. Zero. The rest is your opinion, as he lured him into a trap. Did Sharingan map it out for him? Did it feed him the process? Did he tell him what do do? Shikamaru is smarter man. I'm not going to argue this. The rest of your post is irrelevant given that it's your opinion and i'll respect that.

Orochimaru's opinion is orochimaru's opinion as well. Just as he said Sasuke would surpass Madara.

Unless, "surpass" meant breaking the cycle and not dying. He has still not surpassed him.
