Most Ridiculous Movie?/Sinister is awesome

Anyone else see "The Cabin in the Woods?" Because it's awful. Don't watch it. It's absolutely retarded.

Another question, anyone else see "Sinister" which just came out not long ago? I thought it was very good :y I loved the scenes where the home movies are shown. The instant changes from happy families to disturbing murders was so... disturbing... But soooo great lol Especially the one with the lawnmower. That freaked me the f*ck out. And "Mr. Boogie"... The idea of that character itself is kinda ridiculous, but they pulled that supernatural part of the movie off soo well that I didn't care.

Anyway, what is your most ridiculous movie/What did you think of Sinister if you saw it?

Wt hell cabin in the wood it awesome , it did have a pretty good twist , it was original, nothing we've seen before , it got good reviews

Rampage....it's a pitiful, disgusting movie. The cover of it looked so awesome, so I gave it a try. I can't tell you how much I regret it. This guy goes on a rampage in this small town and completely kills everyone in sight. I can handle seeing guys get killed in a movie, but women and children being massacred like animals....ughh. I couldn't finish it because it all looked so real, being a 2011 movie and all.

"lol nope, I'm selfish and I'd rather have the world along with my retarded stoner ass killed instead of sacrificing myself!!" part. At the end credits I thought "What the f*ck just happened?" Maybe I overreacted... I tend to do that with movies sometimes xd It was pretty good up until that point, theeeen it got retarded. Imo.

And you MUST go see Sinister! It is very, very good! It's disturbing and just so awesome.

Yeah that does sound disappointing. Horror movies are supposed to be psychological, not totally gory and grotesque. Blood and gore are good things in a horror movie, but that should never be the focus of a good horror movie. Sinister, The Grudge, The Ring, The Last Exorcism, The Shining, are great examples of what I consider magnificent horror movies.

Are people no longer literate? The Stephen King of the 1930's was Howard Phillip Lovecraft. This movie is not only a homage to every modern horror film (changing characters slightly to not invoke copyright laws, and sometimes a bit campy) but is an homage to the original source of modern American horror. The movie is pure genius. I saw it in the theaters three times and bought the video on Amazon as soon as I got home after the first theater viewing.

For those that don't know what to make of the mixed reviews, just judge for yourself. If you can view it for free or just a buck or so, go ahead. I think if you like gore, dark comedy, or are just a fan of the genre and want to see what a genius like Whedon does when he nods and pays respect to his predicessors in the field that inspired him and lead to his success then you will be glad you took the time to see the film.

Well, I have to say, but I kinda thought The Silent Hill movies were not better than the games of it. Sinister? Yea I heard of it but it doesn't interest me. I'd recommend something else.
