Most respected female character ?

Title pretty much says it all, who is your personal choice of female character in terms of development and respecting the most for her hardship throughout the series ?

My personal choice here would be Konan, considering her exceptional skills, her love interest with Yahiko and of course almost taking out Obi(tobi) during her final moments in an effort to help Naruto after leaving Akatsuki.

A bit off topic, But what is this obsession of Kishimotos of having love triangles? Nearly every three man team has that.

OT: I would say Tsunade. He basically made her the Hokage of the village. That's like screaming respect.
