Most people hate on Naruto because it is popular

Hey guys a different thread today influenced me to make this statement. People like to hate on Naruto cause it is mainstream. There are far worse mangas/animes than Naruto out there yet everyone acts like Naruto is the lowest of the low when it comes to quality manga. IMO, it feels like a lot of people nitpick certain aspects of the show instead of just reading the story created by Kishimoto and that's why they are so pessimistic with the manga. There are also people who see others hating on Naruto and do it just to fit in or they keep thinking it is a bad manga and that keeps repeating over time till they believe it themselves.

I know a lot of fanboys overrate it by calling it the best manga when they have only read Naruto. However, I have read many amazing mangas and watched anime such as Berserk, One Piece and HxH. All of these mangas along with Naruto are amazing and they bring something unique to the table.

One of the most repeated phrases on Nb is: "Oh, I am just waiting to see how it ends." That statement itself means you still care about this series and read the chapter every week in anticipation. So please stop acting like Naruto is garbage; it is not the best but it is not the worst at all.

Mostly they pick on Naruto because of Season 1. They then refuse to watch Season 2+ and assume Naruto is "Ninja High School". But if they just watched one more season, they would realize there's much deeper roots than pre-teens becoming Chuunin.

I agree. It seems like someone out there just said something contrary about Naruto and everyone just jumped on the bandwagon.

Every popular story has it's haters , we all like to pretend we're manga reviewers & just keep reading so they can give a biased opinions based on hate .......I like Naruto , is it my favorite manga ? No , but I do care about some of my characters that are left & want to see how their story ends .

It's a great manga, and yeah, some people are just whiners. Have you noticed that since Obito was defeated, there's far less whiners? I suspect it was the Obito haters that were buthurt.

Hec, Naruto is a great story with a very good start, good middle and a stupid ending. Story died after Pain arc, yeah we get to see good fights here and there after then, but story is just dead.
