Psht buried alive is an easy one to escape. Are we talking a coffin or a pit?

It depends on how deep you are buried. If it is a standard cemetary pit the weight of the dirt would crush you if you broke out of the coffin or box.

OT: Being hung by the neck until nearly dead. Revived then drawn and quartered.

Have you seen the cell? Remember when Vince Vaughn had his intestines pulled out? That way must really suck.
