Are you kidding me? Kendrick's the only rapper today who actually deserves all his praise. Both of his albums are absolutely brilliant.

Drake has a few more diehard fans than he should, and Lil Wayne hasn't delivered anything good in years. Kanye's a sack of shit all around, but I can't deny he does make good music.

Honestly, as much as I'd hate to admit it, the most overrated rapper today is probably Eminem. I love him dearly and think he's a lyrical genius like everyone else, but there's just no apparent substance to his music anymore and people continue to eat it up in a way they don't Weezy or even Drake.

Spot on. Especially about Eminem. As I've grown older, I've realized that Eminem is very talented and skilled, probably the most skilled, at saying what he says, but he isn't saying much anymore. Man could make brilliant concept albums like Kendrick if he tried.

Kanye, weezy and kendrick are not overrated lol.. There's a difference in current material and overall greatness. Drake owns the game right now I don't think he's overrated either. There are other rappers who are overrated though definitely.

Eminem can't be overrated to be honest. The man has accomplished what no rapper has accomplished. His accolades prove he's top 5 no matter what material he puts out now. Besides, even with his new music he proves he is extremely talented due to his insane lyricism and genius world play. If anything due to all the hate he receives he might just be underrated. Gotta give credit where it's due.
