So, title pretty much explains it all.

How are, for you, the most overrated characters in the OP world? And the most underrated? My personal opinion:

Overrated:
-Luffy
-Zoro
-Blackbeard
-Admiral Akainu

Underrated:
-Sanji
-Robin
-Crocodile
-Ivankov
-Hancock

What is your opinion?

For overrated I would have to say Blackbeard and underrated would be Chopper

I would say blackbeard is overrated, he has power yet always end up in the most desperate situations and gets injured where he didn´t have to if he didn´t let his guard down.
He is underated in the sense that people think he´s weak cuz he ran from akainu but you have to remember that he just formed a crew and didn´t want to lose them so quickly, he also didn´t want a battle where he didn´t have to get into, you didn´t see him running away from sengoku and garp.
Luffy and his crew ran from regular marines after the timeskip so are they weaker then the no-rank marines?

they always considered themselves weaker than they actually are, but that is more of an attitude thing than anything

I don't think people like Nami, Chopper or Usopp are underrated. Its just that they don't have the same will to fight as other characters. It is not that Oda is making them look weaker than what they really are, its that they don't have the courage or confidence to show their skills to the max. In fact, it is very clear the duality in personality. For example, Nami is an extremely powerful and clever fighter, yet lacks the confidence and braveness to fight like Luffy does, yet when it comes to Navigation and Drawing Maps, it's like we're seeing a different Nami, full of confidence and tackling every difficulty they encounter, fearless, and even slightly boasting.
The same happens with many other characters.

It may seem like some characters are given more credit than what they deserve (I disagree with your list, BTW), but in all seriousness they are simply more outrageous and willing. It's in their traits, as per se.

I should've specified this. I meant among fans. People saying that Luffy or Zoro are currently over the Admirals and Emperors/Yonkou level, and even if they're strong I don't agree with this myself, for example. I think this is taking things a bit too far, and I wanted to see what everyone thought about that.

Of course, One Piece isn't nearly as fuc*** up as Sasuke's random powerups and stuff...
