Most out of context info from manga people use anyways

1. Jiraya is stronger than Kisame and Itachi(Itachi is loyal to konoha why would he try to kill one of their greatest allies)

While Itachi did say this, I think he said it to avoid too much conflict. He was working with Konoha and Jiraiya didn't know about Itachi's true reasons so he'd most likely go all out to protect Naruto and Sasuke. This would have at least done major damage to them (maybe even killing one of them).

Itachi and Kisame would have killed Jiraiya (which would have been a major set-back for Konoha), Naruto (who was the village's only Jinchuuriki) and Sasuke (who he cared about more than himself) but Itachi made it seem like Jiraiya was stronger than both of them so he wouldn't have to kill them.

Or, Itachi actually did think that Jiraiya would beat Kisame and himself.

OT: people saying sakuras seal taking 3 years means she was constantly adding chakra to it 24/7 for 3 years as proof of her chakra control, not that her chakra control isn't great or anything just that one thing is out of context.

OT when people say Itachi > Kabuto because EDO Itachi (who got "killed" twice in this fight) + Sasuke beat Kabuto. Izanami only worked because Itachi was an Edo and could risk getting hit.
