Good goal you say. Putting everyone under an illusion and controlling them isn't something I'd call a good goal but that's just me

it was gruesom looking but he was talking about chakra being evil and shit and understanding one another. so not evil just crazy lol. i never really sympathized with madara and wished he was just an evil dictator like he acted but kishi with his parallels and peace talk yuk lol

Yes, putting everyone under a global illusion is indeed something good and would also bring peace to our real world we live in. Humanity id incapable of acceptance and peaceful living. That's a fact.
So in order to stop cruel behavior, you have two options:
- Eradicate humans completely
- make them unable to act (which was one goal of Mugen Tsukuyomi, while everyone could live his personal dream-life without interfering with wishes of anyone else)

Freedom and peace don't work together.
You have to choose.
I think Mugen Tsukuyomi was the best thing to get rid of pain, suffering and cruelty.

Because they were never supposed to be in the first place. Nagato, Madara, Obito...none of them were inherently evil. They were specifically created to sympathize with, and to show us how environment can twist one's ethics, moral values, sanity and so on...

That was the point all along.

Orochimaru was the only real villian.

Sadly. Well, I'd argue for Deidara or Kisame, but I get your point and even then Orochimaru kind of went good in the end a bit. Naruto, the series, really overdid the redemption thing.

His mysterious nature that did not make it predictable if he was good or bad made him a likable villain. Kishi was at his best when he was exploiting his character. Sadly that charm never returned again. Nearly every villain had childhood issues. They all went from good to bad.
