What is the most absurd* or ridiculousjutsu you have seen in the series?

For me, I would say Sexy Jutsu. It's just an excuse to show "hentai" and to have more male audience. I think it's pretty dumb.

mind transfer jutsu is absurd cus of how useful it is and the fact that it made somebody as worthless as ino be able to do something to obito for a second. also hisoka is the man

Well, it was cool when it first showed up. But then Kishi realized the problems with it; basically yeah it is a copout. We don't think anything of it but izanagi is basically the same thing and everyone's always like "izanagi ftw." Kishi at least tried to nerf the technique because it was ridiculous but then just settled into ignoring it. Probably a good choice...

I was pretty surprised when the animal path substituted out of Jiraiya's hair... thought we had seen the last of it. The anime has been more annoying than the manga when it comes to that. Now there's clone feints which can be annoying too depending how they're used.

One thing I've never understood: animal path substituted with a log. The tech basically works like you substitute with part of your surroundings, so it makes sense when they're in the forest in part 1 and that happens. But in this case they're inside that rain building; it's all pipes and everything, not a log in sight. Did Kishi just forget? Because he was addressing the troublesome tech for the first time and so you'd think he'd make sure of how it works.

I'd say Izanami due to the fact that Kishimoto thought of it last minute specifically to stop Kabuto, considering the sheer fact that it wouldn't work on anyone else.

Sage Art: Thousand Hands, there's no reason for it to have an elaborate shape like that. Why not just a wall with a bunch of stakes or something?

Also that Mind-Puppet Transfer Cursed Seal Jutsu whose name I can't ever get right. It's also needlessly elaborate. Why not just trap an opponent's mind in the (immobile) puppet?
