We haven't seen much of them in action yet...
I would agree Chouji seems to have improved a lot.

Shikarmaru was made vice captain...so its kinda hard to say he hasn't improved. Maybe you say that because its hard to measure brain power?

Can't imagine tenten or ino improving much...still useless.
And I can't imagine Lee having got any stronger either...

The only one at a disadvantage would be Lee,why? He can learned all the world different forms of taijutsu in the word and use some of the 8 gates moves but without the ability to mold chakra, He is stuck in place against people like Tobi and Madara, if only He could find a way to do basic chakra molding it would make His taijutsu more deadly without having to use the 8 gate.
