Most Hyped character?

Does anyone else agree that Hanzo was the most hyped character in the series? If not, please state who you think is.

How can you say Hashi is hyped? Lauds, praise, respect, etc are only hype and unwarranted when one fails to deliver the goods. He has never failed, therefore it isn't determined to be hype (yet).

Similarly Naruto keeps winning (even if by the skin of teeth or pulling a TNJ to save the day) so I can't call him hype either.

By this fail or lose measurement to determine if someone is hype, I would have to rule the entire Akatsuki as the most hyped both separately and collectively.

Definitely Itachi. An Uchiha with only Mangekyou, a disease that decreased stamina and going blind, yet people praise him.

Edo Hanzo was a reluctant dude, so wasn't fighting at full ability by my measuring. I wouldn't give his performance a bingo book score because of that, but that is me. The fighting against the control even if it only gives a fraction of an opening is still enough for a good shinobi to exploit.

Characters which just hype or characters that have proven their hype?

Because characters like Hashirama have the most hype yet he's actually proven it, so he doesn't really count.

I'd have to say Hiruzen.

the dude who's a better shinobi than Hashirama, who's intelligence was comparable to Hashirama's/Tobirama's/Hiruzen's/Minato's/Tsunade's at the age of 7, who was the weak point of Kabuto's ET (and was the reason why Obito was defeated since with those edo jins he would have stomped Kakashi)...
