Jiraiya takes the cake on this one. He saved the world (if Nagato didn't die, the world was ****ed)

your so stupid jiraiya didnt kill nagato naruto killed all sixx pain and then nagato gave up his life to the leaf village

Minato and Jiraya died as hero's with their face carved on the wall.

minatos face was carved on a cliff not wall and jiraiyas face wasnt but I get what you mean by how they died as heros

Neji: He died protecting a member of the main branch who he use to even despise and Naruto a person who he use to look down to. He lived as an genius and died as an genius.

Jiraiya: Jiraiya sneaked into Amegakure completely unnoticed, only reason was Pein's rain. He then took down 2 shinobi easily before meeting Konan in battle where he took her down with a single jutsu which was very impressive. The reason behind Jiraiya's arrival in Amegakure was because he had recieved intelligence that the leader of Akatsuki would be there, and Tsunade supported him. Jiraiya wanted to go and gain intelligence for the village for the sake of the village and it's people, while doing so he met Pein. Nagato/Pein would engage Jiraiya in battle, where Jiraiya gained immense intel on him, defeating 5 summons one after the other, while being unable to touch pein, until he reached Sage Mode. Reaching Sage Mode in such a battle is an incredible feat, seeing who he was up against and had no intelligence at all, thought he was able to defeat the summons, enter Sage Mode and literally would have turned the 6 paths to cinders if it wasn't for the Preta Path (arguable seeing Deva paths abilities) he stomped 3 of Nagato's paths with little difficulty. Finally he let down his guard in the belief that he had won the battle, and got his arm ripped off, and from that point on, he didn't think of anything else but the village, the toads and his friends, he tried to fight Pein with one arm unable to use any jutsu, where he fought impressively to the end defeating one of the paths in the progress. Jiraiya after defeat another of the paths (4) the toads wanted him to withdraw, but Jiraiya went back to the surface to face Pein for one last time, to gain the full information on him, figuring out the secret behind Pein and Nagato. He sacrificed his life to finally reveal Nagato's secret, making Naruto and the village capable of fighting Pein/Nagato. The death of Jiraiya also made Naruto grow up and learn Sage Mode, enabling him to defeat Pein.

I will say his death is the most honorable death U_U

I'd say Kisame.....when you look at every other character with a heroic death, Kisame stands out for one reason. The actions that took his life.

Now yes Jiraiya heroically stayed behind to try and figure out Pain....but he died because he was fighting a rediculous enemy.

Itachi killed his clan when other options were available (though Danzo was pressing). He died against Sasuke who believed Itachi was true evil.

Minato and Kushina did protecting their son against Kurama

Kisame died by his own hands....unlike all of the other characters he wasn't in a position in which he was going to be killed. Even more so, the Intel he had honestly would not have made much of a difference. Even when they knew about Zetsu's power they couldn't stop him. It could have even brought out Naruto sooner! Instead of taking the easy way in prison (lol until he broke out) he chose to due in order to keep the plans of his comrades safe

I would have to say the most honorable death goes to Itachi.

Itachi laid his life down just to fufill his brother's ambition of avenging the Uchiha. After that, Sasuke could have possibly return to the leaf. He might have even been called a hero for killing such a big named criminal. The only was when Obito came and threw salt ih his plan by telling Sasuke some of the truth.

Itachi's death was not honorable due to the fact that he lived through dishonor and lies...It was epic but not honorable....Minato's death was a sacrifice...even though he died serving as kage reason he died was for naruto. NEJI HYUGA HAS THE MOST HONORABLE DEATH.
