That was Madara's plot armour, not Limbo. Otherwise Sasuke would have use literally any techniques to defend himself, like his sword-proof Susanoo, or just congratulated Gaara for killing him several chapters ago.

I really can't be unbiased when discussing this particular period of the Manga, because i've gone through it to find the many, many times where Madara should have died if the heroes hadn't acted stupidly. So I'm not defending Sasuke here.

Thing is though, couldn't the limbo do the same thing? I remember Madara's limbo wielding TSB weapons, so how would anything stop you from running towards someone invulnerable to any physical attacks coming your way and just stab them in the chest?
