Most Fanboys/Fangirls.

I like Gaara the most.

While I am aware that he is not the strongest of the series,he is still my favourite for many reasons.

1: He had the hardest upbringing.
2: He had a Haunting Biju in him-I found it more interesting.
3: He overcame his troubles at an early age.
4: He worked very hard and attained the highest rank ever at the youngest age. Kazekage at 15!!
5: His style is very interesting and keeps changing.
6: His mind improves by leaps and bounds each time we see him,to the point where he is a near genius tactician at this stage.
7: He shows the greatest improvements while doing the hardest job.
8: Gaara's cool. His fights are all great to watch.
9: Has the most versatile fighting style.

These are of course some reasons why I feel Gaara is the best character in Naruto and make him my favourite.

I agree with everything apart from the bolded part. I still believe that wood style is the most versatile fighting style, very closely followed by sand

I would say though,the reason I place sand above wood,is because of flight. The user can create additional sand from stone too. Wood needs to be constantly made and requires a huge amount of chakra to keep making it again and again.

Once the sand is made,it remains and only needs to be controlled.
