Most evil Akatsuki member?

Out of the Akatsuki members, who do you think really had the darkest and evil thoughts/intentions? And to give things a slight change, lets leave out Tobi.

I personally think Kisame is probably up there. Most of the other members have some sort of backstory as to why they're there and doing what they're doing.

Pain and Konan: Both had good intentions from the beginning and only ever wanted peace.
Deidara: Was forced to join, but still was pretty dark.
Sasori: Quite a sad backstory but I'm really not too sure about him.
Kakuzu: Failed his incredibly important mission to assassinate Hashirama and harsh punishment awaited him so he didn't have much of a choice.
Itachi: Everyone knows why Itachi was good, always was.
Hidan: Nobody knows too much about his backstory but he always seemed like to much of a joker to be THAT evil and dark.
Zetsu: Can anybody really take white Zetsu's voice seriously?

From old members its orochimaru easily.. doing tests with living creatures killing many innoucent people and well everybody knows haha he's just evil.. from that list id say.. Sasori or hidan.. one does human puppets which is kinda evil and one kills for hes religion to gain immortality.. hard to choose good thread for a chance atleast.

Sasori hands down. I don't even want to know how someone becomes a "human puppet", less enough the process to transform them; hopefully they're dead before the "art" can be completed.

Out of them all, it's Black Zetsu.. but I doubt there's anyone in Naruto who's just straight up evil.

The only real evil villain in Naruto was Gato. Every other villain had righteous intentions, just a twisted way of going about their goal. I even believe that if Orochimaru obtained everlasting immortal power, he would have been a somewhat lenient and forgiving ruler.. as long as everyone obeyed.​

The closest one to being evil was Orochimaru. He actually looked pleasured when he did his dirty deeds.
All the others are either mentally ill (Hidan), traumatized (Sasori), had a life task (BZ), among other things...

Deidara wasn't really evil, he was forced to join and ran away from His hometown on his own will. It's nothing like the others. Sasori killed the kazekage for fun made him and his parents puppets, that's pretty dark.

People don't realize that Deidara literally just likes to blow things up having an artistic view on it doesn't make him less evil, chilldren elderly, woman he'll kill anyone and everyone to showcase his art

Hidan- Takes pleasure out of the pain of others cultivating in himself, again evil

Kakuzu- Would **** up anyone and everyone for a hint of money, yes he was outcasted but has shown no remorse or feeling for past events like most villains in the series

Orochimaru experimented on the unborn and showed no remorse at causing their deaths, doesn't get much more twisted and evil than that. :|
