Ang vs the fire lord wasn´t a no-holds barred, ang held back on Ozai and itachi wasn´t trying to kill sasuke.
I want you to mention a fight where there was either life or death and both sides went with everything they had.

I have to say, even though i don´t like bleach, i pick ichigo vs grimmjow to be such a fight.
