Hope to hear some good posts from this one! Anyways here it goes...
One that comes to mind rather quickly is when my dad was coaching a junior high basketball game at a tournament. I was a young little fart who liked to sit on the bench and talk to the benchwarmers, they kinda just had to put up with me since my dad was the coach. About mid way through the 2nd quarter I don't know why I did it but as we scored and the other team was taking the ball up the court I reached out from the bench and stole the ball from the player. Keep in mind I was probably 6 or 7 years old so try to imagine the fear of having that many people staring at you. I remember the gym went silent and I took the ball and shoved it into the hands of this black guy named Richard, still know the guy today, who was sitting by me and ran out the door. I didn't get spanked thankfully, but my dad chewed my ass out about it to make sure I didn't do it again, so for the rest of the season I sat with my hands under my butt(my dads a pretty intimidating guy being 6'5" ~250 so I got the message pretty clearly). We joke about it now, I'm 16, and say it was my first steal!
