This girl named Ai Astin was supposedly the grave keeper of her town. The towns folk showered her with gifts and sweets. She was living with a man and his wife. And she noticed they smelled weird. One day a man came in town and "killed" everyone but the girl. He was mean to her at first but explained that everyone was died already except her and how the folks only gave her gifts to prevent her from burying them. The man explained that the died people still wondered because God randomly disappeared and he also told the girl that she was not the true grave keeper of that town because the true grave keeper was her mother.Grave keepers aren't suppose to have emotions and are not born like a human. Ai became angry and the man explained that he was her farther and how he was immortal and wanted to die.
Ai and her father started to travel together and I think they were attacked.They met up with Ai's father friend and somehow Ai's father died. Than Ai started traveling with her father's friend.They met a true grave keeper from another town and they all traveled.
