While Madara was Raped in his battle with Hashirama, he at some point got ahold of Hashirama's DNA. He also stated that he awakened his rinnegan shortly before death. How long he was alive before he died we do not know, but he stopped acting out as Madara Uchiha after the fight with Shodai hokage.
shortly after the fight i think Madara got ahold of his bro Izuna and thats when i think they made thee plan as madara was dying he told izuna to give his rinnegan to "a" young "Uzumaki" for that he knew they had excellent life-force and strong chakra..knowing he would be able to revive him self later on in life...aside from that he also gave Izuna the shodai’s DNA and thats when he made zetsu to be his subordinate...after awile he came across a young Uchiha close to death.Izuna then some what keeps him alive but unconscious
some what like the shodai’s clone that tobi has. thats when his body starts to get alittle scetchy like how Orochimaru was befor he needed a host...(again -aside from that)he helped itachi kill the Uchiha clan(Note-thats when he had long hair!) getting his vengeance out on them for abandoning his brother Madara when he needed them most...so shortly after that he used the unconscious but still live body of Uchiha Obito for the Living Corpse Reincarnation kinjutsu that of the same justu that Oro has but the bodys last longer, enhanced by the DNA of the 1st
there for he takes Obito’s body(Note- now thats when he has short hair...Obitos hair) as you can see in the fight with the 4th hokage and enhanced it with the DNA of the 1st hokage.Atleast a year or so after that he has learned "Obito's" sharinghan s/t tech and meybe a few others he then goes to konoha and etc,etc
thats the only way i think of it being possible for tobi to be obito:shrug:like come on obito wouldnt be that evil:mugi:
