More than one Shinigami

Someone pointed out that Orochimaru was looking for the Shinigami's face mask because it was the real one out of the bunch in the Uzumaki Temple (aka the rest are fake)

However this is not true, since there are many Shinigamis in Japanese Folklore:

Shinigami (死神?, "death god" or "death spirit") is an entity in Japanese folklore that is responsible for seeing that a person dies at their appointed time and then guiding their spirit to be judged in the afterlife. In this respect, Shinigami are related to the Western concept of the Grim Reaper. Though the Grim Reaper is a single entity, there are multiple shinigami which are often imagined as working together.

So it's possible that the Shiki Fuujin is not limited in summoning only one type of Shinigami (like the one containing the four Hokages) but many, depending on the user.

The masks are nothing by themselves. You have to get yourself in front of the Uchiha tablet and stare at it through the mask's eyes. That's how it activates.

I suspect that may be quite a possibility, as it was said the Uzumaki clan carried quite an aptitude for various sealing jutsus, therefore the idea of different shinigami to appear from the masks is possible. Though Orochimaru had been looking for a specific one, the Shinigami containing his arms and the four hokage within it, otherwise he would be sacrificing his host body to fruitless results.

Nonetheless, I am quite willing to be sealing technique, however I would proclaim and factualize the statement of eternity within the stomach, which had been disproved in the reaper's case. No one shall escape my belly except by my own decision, a silly jest of course...or is it? ;P

Kishi takes inspiration from Japanese Folklore, and seeing a whole lot of Shinigami masks on that temple, it's only a plausible conclusion that there's more than one reaper.
