As shit continues to get real in Ferguson, the governor calls for a curfew, and declares a state of emergency. That's not what this is about though. A few days ago I remember people saying things like people are looting because they're wild animals. Shit like that. No.

The people looting are scumbags. The majority of the town is attempting to stop this behavior because the cops simply won't do anything about it. They'll violently stop peaceful protests, but won't stop people looting, and burning shit down.

thing is, there are several protesters there who have said it's not them who's doing the looting, whenever the cops show up the looters are right behind them.

Good, after the mayor made his comments it seems like the protesters started taking a more responsible and morally upright position it seems.

Unfortunately, the police seem to be on full aggression mode now with all of the community damage that has happened, treating anything that even implies violence with little tolerance, hopefully with the curfew this all blows over and more peaceful resolutions can be discussed to the issue after the heat is gone.

Or people will ignore the curfew and this will escalate to critical mass. We'll see!
