Well,he was just about to give up revenge in part one before Itach came and tsukuyomi'd him to relive the Uchiha clan massacre for what would seem like years. That along with the curse mark's influenceade him seek power and revenge.

Dude,when you see your family and relatives slaughtered in front of your eyes by your older brother that's not something you just let go. A regular person wouldve commited suicide so if you look at it Sasuke is boss for surviving that.

Having and showing emotions is fine, both for guys and girls of course. It`s also ok when a guy cries sometimes. Being emo seems to be more a negative thing. I`m not a native English speaker but to me, emo means being totally dramatic all the time, crying over everything, letting your emotions take over. That`s just too much, for boys and girls that aren`t little kids anymore, and especially for shinobi I think.

Most emo character is Sakura. She went through nothing, had a sweet life and still...

Of course Saskue has strong feelings. His parents, friends and family got murdered. No parents or a good friend to help him through. Naruto has them too. He was pushed around all life long and his best friend disappointed him. His master died and he was on his own for so long. No parents to teach him better either.

Naruto and Sasuke are both emotional but not crazily emo. Sakura is emo because she is a little girl that always got what she wanted except for her wannabe boyfriend. I hope I got that right.
