I knoe very well what the separation is. Go re-read my post. The point is that you can't dismiss one ethical perspective from publi life because it's motivated by religious beliefs.uhh, this doesnt make sense to me. seperation of church and state isnt regarding each indivual state, its a metaphor for the philosophy of our government as a whole
Arbitrarly choosing what makes a human and what makes a murder. I find it to be both, what now?So no response to my other points? Funny.
Except it's not murder nor is it a fully functional baby.
But I enjoy your misleading phrasing of a common debunked argument that strips away women's rights.
Ok good for you, and my response is why then support a legislation that will defund programs that offer contraceptive measures which in turn reduce the amount of abortions made?Arbitrarly choosing what makes a human and what makes a murder. I find it to be both, what now?
Who said I support it? The less unwanted pregnancies the better.Ok good for you, and my response is why then support a legislation that will defund programs that offer contraceptive measures which in turn reduce the amount of abortions made?
If enough people believed public education is a waste of tax payer money, and vote in a president who plans to vote out public education, sure it should be defunded. We live in a democratic country of course, but assuming we're on the same planet, and speaking about the same Country, that would never happen. That's just a bad argument. What if some people don't support public schools? Should we defund public education because some people don't agree with it?
Ok and I agree.Who said I support it? The less unwanted pregnancies the better.
coming from the guy who regurgitates the same, tired argument about how the government is trying to control women's bodies with anti-abortion legislature, this is utterly rich. You or anybody else on this planet isn't ever going to make me feel like i'm an evil person because i'm wholeheartedly against abortion, so you might as well invest your energy somewhere else.Well genius, the way to reduce abortion is not by outlawing or reducing legal access to it. Women tend to just find other ways to have abortions, and those methods tend to be far more likely to cause serious harm to the woman. In other words: outlawing abortion doesn’t save babies, it just kills girls and women.
And by defunding these programs, you are making access to contraceptive measures to prevent pregnancies harder for people to get.
A fetus can't survive on its own. It is fully dependent on its mother's body, unlike born human beings. The "right to life" also doesn't imply a right to live by threatening somebody else's life. Bearing children is always a threat the life of the mother
A "right to life" is, at the end of the day, a right to not have somebody else's will imposed upon your body. Do women not have this right as well?
It's funny because the original reason for abortions being made illegal in the U.S. had nothing to do with morals in the decision. So you essentially just drank the koolaid and are regurgitating unsubstantiated talking points.
I was talking about this "Just recently there was a huge protest against the Dakota Access Pipeline" that was in your first post, there was a protest but it wasn't as huge as people think because people confuse that photo of Woodstock for a photo of the pipeline protest. That's what I was referring to.I think you're confusing the protest I was referring to.
The huge protest I was talking about was the Women's March, which was the largest in U.S. history. It also happened internationally to protest Trump.

I talked about two protests in my thread. The DAPL protest and the Women's March. Too different protests and two very different proportions.
I don't know why you'd assume that when I didn't reference the photos at all?I was talking about this "Just recently there was a huge protest against the Dakota Access Pipeline" that was in your first post, there was a protest but it wasn't as huge as people think because people confuse that photo of Woodstock for a photo of the pipeline protest. That's what I was referring to.
So you're against abortion, but you're totally for shutting down the establishments which help prevent pregnancies?coming from the guy who regurgitates the same, tired argument about how the government is trying to control women's bodies with anti-abortion legislature, this is utterly rich. You or anybody else on this planet isn't ever going to make me feel like i'm an evil person because i'm wholeheartedly against abortion, so you might as well invest your energy somewhere else.
