Just in the first few days after the Women's March, the biggest protest in history of the U.S., Donald Trump already signed executive orders that is unpopular by the majority of the population. Funny, didn't he bash Obama for using too many executive orders?

Among these executive orders, Donald Trump reinstated the Anti-Abortion "Global Gag-Rule" which will stop giving federal funding to any institutions that has anything to do with abortion, regardless if that exercise is funded by non-government entities.

This will make it harder for women to get abortions and may increase unsafe abortions and deaths among women. This rule applies internationally by making it so that abortions in other countries cannot be paid with U.S. money.

Not only that, but those institutions will soon no longer be able to provide other important healthcare services, such as diabetes screening, flu vaccines, and physical exams to women due to lack of funding by the government.

The next set of executive orders is to bring back the Keystone XL and Dakota Access Pipeline projects. Not only are these detrimental to the environment, but it doesn't even create that many jobs and the oil doesn't even go to the U.S.

Just recently there was a huge protest against the Dakota Access Pipeline because it was building on Native American land, including ancestral burial grounds, and the fact that the drilling was going to go through the water supply of 18 million Natives. So if the pipe leaks, that means no more drinking water for those 18 million people. And a pipeline from a different company has already leaked into the water.

To make matters worse, Donald Trump holds stock in the Dakota Access Pipeline.

This is just absolutely disgusting. This is just in the first few days of being President. And people wonder why there is so much antipathy and criticism against Trump?

I am American and I do not want to pay one cent towards a foreign nations healthcare. It is already expensive to see the doctor here in the United States. If anyone's healthcare is going to be subsidized I want it to be my own. Tax dollars need to be spent on domestic aide - not foreign.

As far as the Dakota Pipeline goes, hear me out. Do you know how oil from Canada is currently being brought into the United States? It is brought through BNSF Railway. That railroad is owned by Warren Buffett. The tracks of the rail road are no more intrusive to 'native lands' than a pipeline that is ENTIRELY BURIED UNDERGROUND. As far as the environment is concerned, the last time I checked the commercial rail road system in the United States is not electric meaning it has emissions. Trains have just as much potential of having an accident then spilling oil into the ground as a pipeline does.

The entire protests were fake. Well - it started off as fake, and then people who believed the news joined the protesters and it became a combination of people being paid to protest and protesters who had no idea they were being played.

We are currently being tested through news outlets and social media to see how easy it is to control people. I urge you not to trust ANY news outlets and do your own research.

What are you even talking about and what does this have to do with anything? Not even relevant.

Are you seriously defending the pipeline constructions?

What?

No, the protests were in fact real, planned ahead of time, and happened internationally. It's been reported all over the world.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you are able to deny its existence.

The fact that you keep defending Trump on issues that are morally repugnant baffles me.

The bill defunded foreign aid for abortions among other things. Abortions are healthcare. Did you even read what the Mexico City Policy was before you even posted this?

I was referring to the fact that people will not able to use U.S. currency to get abortions from other nations.

I didn't know about it cutting foreign aid to help developing countries. Wow, that makes it even worse.

And you were saying how you want the U.S. to focus on domestic aid. So how is this "gag rule" helping domestically when it's doing the complete opposite for millions of women?

So I take it by your comment on subsidizing healthcare that you support a single-payer system?

False. If you actually did any fact checking instead of continuously spreading whatever BS you spent 5 seconds looking at; you would know there are plenty of other options for these women. There are over 13,000 non-abortion-providing federally qualified health centers and rural health clinics, compared to 665 Planned Parenthood. If given the funding saved from Planned Parenthood all these clinics would have plenty of resources to accommodate the surplus of women coming in.

Not to mention the fact that government funding was less than half of Planned Parenthood's revenue, and plenty of people (rich celebrities included) have already claimed they would now be donating more money to account for the funds cut. Planned Parenthood isn't closing any time soon.

As far as the pipelines I agree that should not have been green lighted.

I'm not a fan that Trump got the presidency and I'm not one of the ones who say let's give him a chance, no we should be critical of every action he makes. That said there's a big difference between removing government funding for abortions and removing the rights to them completely. Women should be allowed to go and get an abortion if they so choose but it shouldn't have to be through a gov't funded facility that's what the private sector is for. That order isn't saying "you can't have one" it's saying "we won't help pay for it" Why don't some of the pro choice women's rights doctors step up and offer this at a reasonable price so people wont need government assistance?

As for the pipeline, you mean that "huge" protest, this one;
You must be registered for see images

That was proven to be a photo of Woodstock?
You must be registered for see images

And for the record we will be keeping some of the oil for ourselves to cut costs and selling some to make profit, also for as much as people are acting like this was Trump's idea let's not ignore the fact he's reviving an old Obama initiative with the pipe line, one that Obama backed down on due to public pressure but he wanted to pursue.

False. You simply just put words in my mouth.

Where in my comment did I say there were not other options?

Just because other options exist doesn't give Trump a pass on this ruling.

I don't know why you have to bring up a straw man. The act itself is a negative. Just because those institutions might get donations or there are other options for healthcare services is irrelevant to the point.

Donald Trump still passed a ban U.S. funding for international health organizations that counsel women on family planning options that include abortion.

And Donald Trump is green lighting the pipeline projects.

It's one executive order after another that is wildly unfavorable and regressive, and this is just within the first few days of his presidency.

Isn't U.S healthcare mainly in the private sector anyways?

That's a good question I don't have an answer for.

I think it's just hard to run a privatized business that isn't solely focused on making a profit.

just because Trump isn't a supervillain because he might make it more difficult for women to kill babies. It's funny how you didn't care to mention the part where those "abhorrent" executive orders will make American jobs American again

Yeah, because government should be able dictate women on what to do with their bodies.

Abortions are only allowed up until a certain trimester.

It's funny how the GOP are all so pro-life up until the baby is born, and then they don't a shit by attempting to cut welfare, social security, medicare, and not for a universal single-payer healthcare system.

Yeah a true hero Trump and the GOP are.

ugh hes so annoying. i actually went out downtown near our city hall and protested for a bit, which was definitely inspiring. it showed me we arent exactly as seperated as i thought

Trump is just decorating our country with L's it seems. this is actually regressing and very annoying. the whole reason anyone is Anti abortion usually stems from religious beliefs. the Church and State are supppse to be seperate, regardless of personal beliefs tons of people need this. when abortion was illegal, people still did it but in very unsafe conditions. you already plan on getting rid of healthcare for a bunch of people, now youre trying to put them in situations where they have to give birth. Ultra sounds and tons of other doctors visits are needed, medicade only does so much

if someone doesnt want to have a baby but is accidently pregnant. its better to let an abortion happen than add an unloved child into our society or foster care

i need to look more into the Dakota Pipeline access, ive heard about it a lot but for whatever reason havent actually looked into it. a lot of people i trust though seem to be against it

Planned parenthood is subsidized and accepts donations for abortions
That means tax payers who don't support abortions have to pay for other people's abortions
You make me wish we could just check off things we want our tax payer dollars to not support

Hell we could do it every year for tax time. Just check the boxes in the questionnaire on turbo tax

Using the separation of Church and State in issues like abortion is a terrible argument because it boils down to "separate answers to ethical questions which I don't like from the state" to which I say a big NO.

Planned parenthood is subsidized and accepts donations for abortions
That means tax payers who don't support abortions have to pay for other people's abortions
That's my beef. It's just as bad as forcing atheists to pay for Church revenue (in fact its worse considering how seculars have been rioting against the latter while now advocating the former).

it's also funny how you don't have a single plan yourself that sounds exponentially better than the current administration, but it didn't stop you from bellyaching about Trump's executive orders being abhorrent.
