In my state it has become common for illegal immigrants to take advantage of our hospitals. When an illegal is hurt or sick, they go to the ER and give false information, get treatment, and never think twice about the hospital bill. The hospital never gets their money and it ends up costing millions of dollars a year state-wide.

Do you think it is immoral for illegals to take advantage of our health care? Or do you think its the hospital's moral obligation to help the sick?

I am aware that it can be considered cruel to deny someone medical treatment, but at the same time, its affecting hospitals and people who actually pay their medical bills.

What do you think?

I don't know. We also pay taxes for their kids to go to public school, when they don't. They also take up jobs.

But they do jobs most Americans would NEVER do. How many parents would say "Yah i pick strawberries in the fields for $2 an hour."

Interesting debate topic friend. I've not seen this topic on the base yet, and for that I give my thanks. ^.^

I think that if you have to ability to help someone you should do it. Don't call me a boys out, I just have good morals.
But it is wrong to skip out on the bill. But then again, if they don't have a legitimate job, home, ID, then there is no way they can go on record. And most jobs that they do probably, to my knowledge, don't pay we'll enough for the bills in the first place. Hmmm. I think this one is best left for people of greater intelligence with these situations than I can offer.

I think that not all people were lucky enough to be able to pay their own medical bills.
As I think that not all people were lucky enough to be able to have a descent socioeconomical level and be able to secure themselves and their families.
And I think,we who are lucky enough to live a descent life should pay more attention to those peoples needs and be more sensitive towards them.

Medical treatment is a right, not a paid privilege. A person has the right to choose whether or not they can receive treatment, as well as being able to readily access it.

It's almost like a principle of altruism, but not quite. Still, we should work for a better world.
