Do you believe life is created equal?

Is abortion right or wrong?

Is killing alright?

Is the world meant to be unfair?

You can answer any question or answer all of them and we'll go from there to create a discussion.

1- No

2- Depends on the situation I do believe that if you weren't prepared for a child you shouldn't have been having unprotected ***. And that child that you killed? Could've grown up to find the cure for HIV or something. But on the other hand if you know that the child is gonna be born with disabilities and is going to have a hard time in life, or you just can't support it then, well y'know. No point of bringing a beautiful child into the world if it's just going to struggle.

3- Depends. I believe killing and murdering are two different things. I would kill for the right reasons.

4- This question is kinda obvious :erm:

Yes.

Abortion is wrong, but there are times where that's for the better.

Nobody has the right to decide who lives and who dies, so no.

The world is unfair at times, but not because someone decided, it just is.

3. If you have a good reason, like Sasuke before he found out the truth.

Life when we are born is all about our immediate circumstances, so sadly enough it is never truly equal. But if you weigh one person's life towards another's then yes, morally they are both equal but circumstances, relations and philosophy are what kills that more righteous moral stance.

Abortion..... I believe it´s neither, but I also believe that when the law steps in to stop that right of the woman then the law is the villain. It´s sad really that the fetus won´t live to see it's life even truly begin when the abortion is decided upon, but there are a lot of cases where the woman must do it for some reason or the other, or if they just can´t accept it due to rape.

Killing.... goodness that´s a wide subject to debate upon. Personally I don´t find it inhuman, we are part of nature after all, not it's overlords no matter how far we push into the technological world it´s still just like animals and parasites adapting to survive and every organism holds some amount of greed. Preferably killing is something to be avoided, but when it truly is self-defense then that´s the way it has to play out sadly. But if it´s for the sake of vengeance for a lost loved one then I have no objections within my mind that excludes the avenger from our moral codes, come what may of the damned law. I´m normally seen as a very kind person with a big heart by my parents and friends, but that persona will die the same moment someone close to me dies, and I won´t make it quick on the one who did it. Sorry for using myself as an example, but that´s how I see it....

The world was never fair. The world itself answers under the law of nature: adapt and strive to survive. That hasn´t changed. This society we live in is just like an ant colony, no matter how far we stretch our limits of capability or understanding. I don´t truly believe fate holds a truly predetermined path for us, but it always seem to hold one based on circumstance and likelyhood. But I believe our true achievements are achieved where we break that hypothesis that fate is. No, the world isn´t fair but we have to make the best of it, if we have the will.

Lives aren't created equal. Just look at the world, there are good and bad people. People who do more harm then good.
If you say they're a product of their environment or their circumstance then you're not taking any responsibility for your life. For that reason, if all life is equal we would be equal which we're clearly not.

Abortion is right and it all depends on the parents, they shouldn't have to ruin their lives and destroy their own futures over an unwanted baby if they don't want to.

Killing is alright if it's self defense, to protect someone or even revenge.

The world is meant to be unfair yes. Justice is a naive concept.

Do you believe life is created equal?
Since you said 'life' I assume that you dont want to exclude animals? In this case: no. How could life be created equal if one lifeform has a lifespan of only a day and another lifeform has a lifespan of hundreds of years?

Is abortion right or wrong?
Depends on what you call abortion... I think it's ok in a verry early stage, but later on it's deffinitely not ok. You can give your child away if you dont think that you can care for it, but who are you to decide that the life of your child is not worth to be lived? It's selfish. It's wrong.

Is killing alright?
If done in order to survive - yes. Otherwise probably not. There are always exeptions of course, the question is way to simple to give a clear answer.

Is the world meant to be unfair?
What does that have to do with moral?

Anyways, the world is not meant to be unfair. Survival of the fittest gives every living creature the chance to make the best out of their life and to survive. It's cruel nevertheless, but unfair? No.

What mankind has made out of their world though... you could call that unfair.

We're all equal in the sense that we all have to live and we all have to die.

Is killing alright? I just finished Batman Arkham Asylum so this is in my head "All life is sacred but if you killed one to save another you will not be judged" D:

Is the world meant to be unfair? People make it unfair but the world isnt meant to be anything

Is killing alright?

Is the world meant to be unfair?
1. No. Some people are born with more than others. But it also depends on what you do with your life. Your actions and choices can lead to a better life.

2. It's wrong. Even if a woman was raped she can rather give the baby up for adoption than kill it.

3. No. Taking life, for any reason is just wrong.

4. This is kinda linked to your first question. I don't think its meant to be unfair but that's just the way it is.

Do you believe life is created equal?
This is a loaded question.

All life is deserving of consideration and respect for its role in things.

That said, no - life is not created equal. My cat, as much as I love and adore her, is not my equal.

The reason we've created this whole mythology surrounding "equality" is because lesser beings have difficulty appreciating the reasons of our inequality while failing to respect the natural laws of the universe that, eventually, render us to the worms.

Is abortion right or wrong?
That one is circumstantial.

I think it is more wrong to try and delve into the wombs of others. While it is obviously a less than ideal solution - you will note that the people so adamantly opposed to this procedure are not lining up outside of orphanages and signing up to be foster parents.

Is killing alright?
People get too emotional over it.

It can be reduced to a question of functionality. If people simply go about killing each other because they've angered one another - then that's not going to lead to a very functional society.

By that same token, a society that completely rejects the notion of killing people who are nothing but problems will, also, become dysfunctional. As will those that reject the notion of self defense.

Is the world meant to be unfair?
Humans are meant to come up with ideals and work towards establishing those ideals as the standard.

Though the world is not set up for those ideals to function based on the merit of their intent. Hence why there are no utopias.

The reason our attempts to realize these ideals fail is due to the fact that our ideals are exclusive of the real world demands placed upon any system that attempts to function within it.

It's like trying to build a house without consideration for the fact that the wind will blow and the rain will fall, or ignoring the fact that you do not have a stone strong enough to create the vaulted arch design you wish to use. No matter how beautiful and decent your intentions are - they simply won't work if you forget that there are things outside of: "This is an amazing idea!"
