So how exactly are they gonna do that with the moon revolving around the earth?

I agree they will be put in an infinite Tsukuyomi, and if it is like Itachi's it will control time, therefore after if has been cast on the moon you could say not everyone will be under the genjutsu until after one full rotation?

Let me explain. If the moon revolves around the sun or vice versa that means that it will be nighttime wherever the moon is. When Infinite Tsukuyomi is cast on the moon anyone that looks at it will be caught in the jutsu. That means that after you see the moon that's it. Since you're under a genjutsu you don't need the moon anymore because everyone is already caught.

This is another plot hole. How exactly is Obito and Madara going to put the Genjutsu on the moon? Are they going to actually travel there and do it?

I hope we don't get trolled if they do somehow get to the moon.
I bet Madara will use Perfect Susano and reach up high and stick his sword inside the moon and Obito could just climb on up there. Wonder how he going to breath. (Perfect troll)

But in real life we need a rocket to get to the moon. -_-
