Moon's connection to Mugen Tsukuyomi and S06P

Is it just me or is it just way too much of a coincidence that the Moon is also the only means by which Infinite Tsukuyomi can be implemented?

Could it be that the S06P somehow planned the Mugen Tsukuyomi? Is that the Moon's secondary purpose? Maybe as a backup plan in case the world doesn't achieve peace? Is that why he hinted at it on the Stone Tablet?

If Naruto is foreshadowed to be the second coming of the Sage, then why would Naruto's and the Sage's personality differ so much that the Sage would allow possibly allow for something like this whereas Naruto is completely against it?

These are all ideas that need developing.

According to Madara, the tablet implied

When two opposing forces cooperate, true happiness can be obtained.

Clearly, Madara interpreted this as the union caused by carrying out the Mugen Tsukuyomi.

Why did the Sage leave it vague? Maybe he felt that choices involving the fate of humanity rightfully belonged to the future generation.



All those are possibilties that haven't been determined yet.

(Personally, I think that the both the Sage and Naruto( merely the Sages reincarnation) embodies Nature's will and that the Sage was just failed attempt to bring a concrete solution( that may be why S06P was ambivalent) whereas Naruto embodies Nature having made up it's mind. If I have more solid proof, I'll make a thread on this too.)

Good theory I belive that the two half's are Yin and Yang when Yin and Yang are in balance ie cooperate than we have true happiness this could be a referance to the sons or a way to unlock a new power sage mode is a balance of chakra could be a foreshadowing of naruto's next power up

I believe that Madara interpreted it as the solution gained with the forcing of everyone( many with different ideologies of course) into one unified mush. Since all opposing ideologies would no longer conflict in the Mugen Tsukuyomi, true peace/happiness is accomplished.
