Heavens are floating monumental and blue
With stars upon them, yellow, cold, shining trough;
Crumbling my soul, all tired and sad,
Weeping over things I'll never have.
I raise my hands and beg the heavens,
To spill oblivion over my heart.
To make me forget all that I was given;
And push the button for restart.
I keep on limping towards the vastness,
While the harsh moonlight shines upon my weary feet.
With stars upon them, yellow, cold, shining trough;
Crumbling my soul, all tired and sad,
Weeping over things I'll never have.
I raise my hands and beg the heavens,
To spill oblivion over my heart.
To make me forget all that I was given;
And push the button for restart.
I keep on limping towards the vastness,
While the harsh moonlight shines upon my weary feet.
