Fair argument but Kabuto and Madara are by no means non-factors in any battle. No attack or defense can stop the 100+ variety of ninjutsu and abilities that the army has. Variety and special conditions.

A meteorite? Hidden Mist. Poison Mist. Itachi's Genjutsu. 100 puppet army, explosions of all kinds, Dan's broken ghosting, invisibility, hozuki water tricks, attacks of every element and every type, shape and size. At once. No matter how fast or strong he is, he is invulnerable to every single one in arranged formation. The army is by no means irrelevant when golden wheel only delays their attacks. Top that off with somebody almost on JJ Naruto level and I think Toneri will have a lot to do.

I'd make the argument that Madara, Itachi and Kabuto could do it alone but I wont do that.

Tengai Shinsei gets demolished by like 3 of Toneri's TSB. Or Toneri just avoids the meteors since he can fly.

Hidden Mist? Toneri has the Tenseigan. Which is 1000 Byakugans in one. I hope you get where I'm going with this.

Poison mist gets tanked easily by Toneri's TCM.

Itachi's Genjutsu is fodder.

Dan's ghosting is never getting Toneri or having any effect on him except for maybe a single second, and that's a big maybe.

Invisibility is irrelevant since Toneri can just make those large silver tornadoes to kill Muu.

Then add that would only mean he was not using his senjutsu from the sage but rather his own which would logically be boosted to so?? then add he has full Kurama plus a good amount of chakra growth the last naruto > his younger self and its pretty self explanatory.

Just because a jutsu may look weak in front of an Ootsutsuki doesn't make it instantly poof away in a cloud of smoke though. I'm not saying literally counter any single jutsu in the army. I'm saying the clever use of them all at once or in coordination. The army has the largest amount of 'special case' outside the box jutsu and all i'm saying is that there's so few ninja who can evade every single one- because it's not a speed thing. What if Toneri in all his godhood doesn't happen to know how Kinkaku and Ginkaku's sealing jutsu work? Not as if he's going to have time to really focus on them as he's dealing with 60+ threats. 10 or so of which being just the tier below him.

Now imagine several of those special cases at once. Sure, smash em to pieces with the Wheel. Run at them really fast, they're coming back and with the sheer power of the variety of that arsenal. He's slipping up.

What you're describing is a typical shounen situation where every little piece counts and the villain gets overpowered. I guess, if it wasn't a VS matchup where these rules don't apply, I could see the army having significance. Otherwise, no. Toneri still low/mid-diffs and only because of JJ Obito, it's just the way it is.

What is an MS genjutsu going to do to an Ootsutsuki? The concept of Itachi affecting Toneri with a genjutsu is ludicrous.
