After quite some time Alexander returned to a familiar place - the training grounds. It had been some time since he was here to learn something himself. The scattered trees and the expansive field brought many memories from Alexander's younger days when he was learning the basics to begin his ninja career. Today he had returned not to simply learn something basic but to form a contract or alliance of sorts with something quite similar to himself - the Monkeys. Taking a seat on the field Alexander awaited for his Shishou, Koumei.

As Alexander sits out in the open field of the training grounds, a moderately thick mist starts to emerge from the surrounding woods. Moreover, he'll soon find that he's no longer alone, as Koumei, himself, treads onto the field. Indeed, taking a leisurely walk towards the young man ,who he figured to be his newest pupil, he made no attempt to conceal his presence. With a thin smile upon his face, Koumei crossed his arms and moved to stand before the young man with a most peculiarly colored left eye, distinguished even more so by a scar.

Alexander's eyes immediately registered the emergent mist from the treeline. His eyes scanned back and forth over the treeline waiting for whomever would come forth. His timid and skeptical nature left him questioning who would make an appearance in such a manner. His eyes slightly narrowed as a slight abnormally tall man came forth from the mist with dark hair trailing to his knees. Recognizing him from the stories that were told of the Cerise Hermit Alexander deduced him to be his teacher. "You must be my instructor." Alexander said politely as Koumei came within earshot distance. He stood from his position on the grass so as to not show disrespect. "I've been quite excited for this."

Alexander listened carefully as Koumei listed his questions to him. As he finished Alexander slightly bowed his head in acknowledgement as he began to answer. "Well, to properly introduce myself I am Alexander. While my blood is of no notable family I consider myself part of House Katsuryoku. An obscure clan under an even more obscure man. I am indeed familiar with the Summoning Technique and have learned how to use it proficiently with hand seals and tattoos as well. In my own words a summoning is not simply a tool to aid me in combat or in my travels. A summoning is an extension of myself and more than a simple ally. It is a companion. I sought out the Monkey Contract after heard stories of the Monkey King himself from Ninja during my time in Konoha. I felt that in my lonely days I could find a new companion in the Monkeys after hearing the stories of Hiruzen Sarutobi and Enma." Taking a moment to catch his breath Alexander stretched his arms back while contemplating the next question. Very few people had ever asked him a question of that nature which had caught him off guard slightly. "Well, I'd have to say I'm shy, sensitive, and skeptical."

To be honest I had read a few of your training sessions over the past few weeks as I had always been interested in Monkeys. What 'sealed the deal' for me in a sense was seeing your statement about what Adachi said. That Monkeys are more or less Shadow Clones allowing us to describe their movements practically identical to how we describe ourselves. They are the closest thing to a humanoid companion one can have in a battle beside another ninja. And of course their transformation abilities based on Enma's adamantine staff make for incredibly interesting custom techniques.

Responding to Alexander-kun's acknowledgment and formal introduction, Koumei nodded his approval, but remained impassive otherwise, until his pupil concluded talking. "I appreciate your forthcomingness in responses, though, I do prefer 'contract virgins'. Honestly, I do feel compelled to state your answers were rather nice, overall. I always love to see young individuals enamored by the contract; it's just a matter of this session, then you'll be able to summon monkeys freely!" No longer speaking, Koumei instead removed a large scroll from within his robe. "Well, this is the grand scroll that contains all the signers of the reputed Monkey Contract. I need you to draw a bit of your own blood, just enough to write your name out, with the hand you'll tend to perform the summoning technique with. There are no tattoos for summoning monkeys, so choose wisely. Once you've signed the contract, we can move onto the next and most exciting phase: techniques!" With care, Koumei moved to open the scroll in front of his person, facing his newest pupil. On the scroll, at least six contractors were evident, given at least six names could be seen written in blood, from right to left (oldest to most recent): Hiruzen Sarutobi, Koumei Ren, Kirikoe Katsuryoku, Ryuu, and Waaiz.

As the scroll unrolled before Alexander he couldn't help but feel some marvel and feel how fortunate he was for the opportunity he was now facing. Signing the same scroll as Hiruzen Sarutobi certainly had some gravity to it and Alexander was no stranger to history knowing full well who Hiruzen was in his time. As he listened to Koumei speak Alexander cautiously took his left thumb to his mouth biting the flesh from it ever so gently. As he did so his eyes winced slightly while the crimson blood dripped from his thumb. Next to Waaiz's name he filled in his own - Alexander Katsuryoku. It seemed not so long ago his own companion Kirikoe had done the same. It warmed his heart to know that he would be able to share stories with Kirikoe of his training and their time with the Monkeys in the future. "I'm ready."

Taking a deep breath as Koumei finished his request Alexander nodded. Having been familiarized with the Summoning Technique long ago he knew what must be done. Smearing some of the fresh blood onto his palm he clasped his hands together and began weaving the signature summoning series of hand seals beginning with Boar and ending with Ram. As he reached its completion he bent forward slamming his left bloodied palm on the ground. With a shout he released chakra onto the ground causing the signature sealing formula to spread forth. "Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" Within the confines of Alexander's mind he pictured the qualities of monkeys. The rumors he had heard and the stories told from Konoha poured into his mind. Their strength, their speed, their humanoid characteristics, their ability to speak, and their hairy exteriors. Moments later a plume of smoke burst from the sealing formula and in that plume came forth a monkey of average stature. As the smoke dispersed Alexander could clearly see the monkey is female. "May I ask your name" Alexander cautiously asked so as not to come off rude or impudent. With a shy tone she replied. "A...Alexis."

Though pleased with the results of the summoning technique, he was somewhat perturbed by the lack of dialogue exchange between Alexander-kun and the newly arrived monkey, Alexis. "Crucial to any summoning contract is proper communication; just a name won't suffice!" Swiftly weaving a sequence of hand-seals: Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram, Koumei directs a moderate amount of chakra towards Kirikoe, which affects his student's nervous system via chakra distortion. The moment the illusion is induced, Koumei will disappear from sight as several bean vines emerge from the ground around and beneath Alexander to complete restrict movement. To complete the illusion, a bean pod rises up and reveals what appears to be Koumei, himself, even though he hasn't moved at all. From that illusionary representation of Koumei, the following statement is made: "So, what will you do now, my newest pupil?!? Do not disappoint me with half-baked tactics! As the smoke dispersed Alexander rested his eyes on her. She was familiar to him. Yet they had never met. But he felt comfortable. "It is an honor, Alexis." Alexander stated with reverence echoing in his voice. "My name is Alexander of the House Katsuryoku. I...well I'm very eager to-" He was cut off by her. She had an interesting personality. Shy yet still powerful. At least he couldn't quite fully discern her. But no matter what happened he still felt comfortable around her. "I am too. You seem kind hearted. That is rare these days. Don't let that be tarnished by strife in the world. I am young by monkey standards. But I've seen many Ninja fall prey to the darkness created by this world that we live in." She said with a soft tone. "I try not to. I've been through much myself..." Suddenly Koumei disappeared. Alexander's eyes momentarily widened, something that Alexis immediately took note of, as vines rose from the ground under him binding him in place as a much larger bean pod rises revealing Koumei yet again. Having taken note of Alexander's shock Alexis turned toward him with a look of concern. "He's bound me!" Alexander called toward her as he was fixated in place. Immediately knowing what had happened Alexis, in a dramatic burst of speed all monkeys are capable of, rushed to Alexander's side. "Brace yourself. He's placed you in an illusion." She said gently as she slapped his back with enough force to release the illusion through pain. Alexander winced in pain but suddenly he was free yet again. The vines vanished. Alexis was still standing next to him. And Koumei had returned to normal free of the large bean pod. In this first act their companionship and teamwork had already proven invaluable. Alexander felt a surge of excitement with his new companion. He knew they would have countless adventures together and be able to count on each other.

Well, as seen here they can assist in the release of genjutsu and the discernment of genjutsu as long as they themselves aren't placed in the illusion too. Monkeys are complex creatures enough to easily be placed in an illusion too.
The generic summoning can also easily be used to add to freeform taijutsu, bukijutsu, and usage of tools and what not. I assume the generic monkey summoning can be equipped with these freeform tools should the user add them in which make them very useful in creating those sorts of combinations.

Alexis dispersed in a plume of smoke akin to the one she was summoned in as Koumei began speaking on Enma. "Until next time, Alexis." Alexander whispered under his breath. Listening to his shishou Alexander braced himself for the Monkey King's arrival. As Koumei completed the summoning technique and the plume of smoke was pushed away in a breeze Alexander rest his eyes upon Enma himself. Before him stood an elder monkey coated in white fur and long white hair. Adorned on him was mesh covered by a black suit with a kimono on top. He was equipped with the headband of Konohagakure. Alexander bowed his head ever so slightly to show respect. He had heard stories of his strength and his quick to anger personality. He didn't wish to incite his wrath nor did he wish to appear too meek. Lifting his head to make eye contact Alexander began to speak, "I've heard stories. And I must say your appearance before me even eclipses the stories that I have heard. It is a true honor to meet the companion of the Professor and God of Shinobi. I am Alexander of the House Katsuryoku. As my Shishou has said I've come seeking to become a companion and ally of the monkeys. I've been very excited to meet you and hope one day to fight alongside with you for the good of the world.

Read it and love it. He's quite powerful. He's compared to Hashirama with chakra enhanced strength which means his blows are quite easily capable of breaking bones and incapacitating enemies. With his immense speed as well in combination with that it makes him extremely formidable in close range combat.

The technique used to summon Enma is the very same technique I posted previously. Like the vast majority, if not all summonings, the range in which he may be called forth is limited to short-range. Even so, that does not mean that Enma must stay within short-range of you, as he can move freely once he's been summoned to the field (any range).
Once he's summoned, you'll be in charge of his behavior, dialogue, and movements. Don't have him break character!
Description will be paramount to all following posts from this point on. The bulk of what we do will be taijutsu and bukijutsu (weapon techniques) orientated. Make sure everything is coherent, and that there're no ridiculously long run-on sentences. I want as much, if not more effort in this phase than in any battle test. I expect great things from you.

The first thing you should've observed, aside from his being a monkey, is his actual figure. He's a hulking brute, no? Undoubtedly, Enma's most defining qualities are his strength and speed. He's physically our superior and could break either of our necks with but a single hand. Exacerbating his already remarkable lethality, though, Enma is able to use the bulk of mainstream physical attacks labelled as taijutsu. Moreover, he's significantly faster than either of us, which means his assaults will come quicker, as so too will his reflexes. The last 'strength' I'd like to mention, is also perhaps the most underrated. Enma is fairly old, but he has a particularly keen mind. He's fully capable of serving as an adviser of sorts and you should not hesitate to defer to his instincts or statements when issues arise. Finally, with all of the aforementioned qualities laid out before you, I just wanna say that Enma's a great partner overall. He'll serve you well."

Moreover, he's significantly faster than either of us, which means his assaults will come quicker, as so too will his reflexes. The last 'strength' I'd like to mention, is also perhaps the most underrated. Enma is fairly old, but he has a particularly keen mind. He's fully capable of serving as an adviser of sorts and you should not hesitate to defer to his instincts or statements when issues arise. Fresh blood still available on his dominant thumb Alexander clasped his hands together and cracked his knuckles signifying that he was ready to begin. In dramatic fashion he slammed the still fresh blood onto the ground, "Kuchiyose no Jutsu! Come forth, Monkey King Enma!" he cried out. Simultaneously in the confines of his mind he pictured the traits of Enma. The large hulking beast he had seen just moments ago would be called forth. He imagined his remarkable speed, his great strength, his trademark attire consisting of his mesh armor and kimono. Suddenly a plume of smoke would burst from underneath Alexander. He was not taken by surprise. He had already experienced this once before when he had summoned his own personal companion to the training grounds. As the smoke cleared before him stood Enma, recognizable by his same qualities as before. "Are you ready to begin further training, Enma?" Alexander inquired as Enma turned toward him. "My training has long since been complete, young one. It is however our skills together as a team and partnership that will be honed today. And even then it will take many times in true battle before we become a cohesive unit. Let us begin." He said with resounding authority.
