Luffy was stoked to have finally made it to the designated training grounds where he would sign the Monkey contract. He had been traveling for quite some time through the dense forest, as energetic as ever. Outstretching his arms from tree branch to tree branch, swinging just like monkeys usually do. "Yahooooo ♪" shouted the rubber-man in excitement.
Cracker at first remains silent and unmoving within one of his puppets—his preferred guise when dealing with unfamiliar faces. He'd been called upon to once again add to his beloved Monkey Contract; a new set of blood-red kanji would soon likely be displayed. He couldn't help but grin at the mere prospect. This one, he'd heard, was quite the oddball..
"A man whose surname is Monkey.. Kukuku," he mused to himself from within his puppet.
As if on cue, he soon thereafter detects an entity that's quickly traversing the area with clear signs of reckless abandonment. When the source of the disturbance moves into his line of sight, he moves to snatch it from the air as it seems to be reaching for another vine to grab hold of, in an attempt to continue on.. The puppet's grip force is firm, but not painfully so.
"Kukuku, and here I thought I'd caught a wild animal. Who might you be, boy?" He speaks through his puppet, a masterful display of ventriloquy. This act is accompanied by all of the gestures one would expect to be made while the puppet seems to be speaking.
"I've been expecting somebody.
Are you the one, or aren't you?"
Swinging from tree branch to tree branch, he catches a glimpse at a large figure standing from afar. In a moment's notice, the man reached out for Luffy, grabbing a hold of his right arm.
With a huge smile on his face, Luffy's arm outstretches, allowing him to walk towards his teacher unhindered. Scratching the back of his head with his opposite hand, his laughs as he introduces himself. "Shishishishi, the name's Monkey D. Luffy, and I am going to become Pirate Water King!" Shortly thereafter, the rubber-man nonchalantly slips his index finger into his nose, beginning to dig for gold as he looks at the person in front of him. Flicking a nugget of gold moments later, Luffy replies. "Yeeeaapp, that's me! Shishishishi~"

Understood! Should I be writing my introduction now?
"Hmph," he makes it seem as though the puppet grunts. It is the only sign of recognition he gives to the younger man, and he deliberately keeps his grip tight beyond reason.. Despite the comedically disproportionate legs of his puppet, he has little issue making his way into the deepest parts of the forest. In fact, it doesn't appear to take many strides at all from the very large puppet to cover the distance that remains between them and a river that cuts into the new area.
Without warning, he hurls Luffy into the water and has the puppet declare that Luffy reeks. "Do you think you already have some connection with monkeys just because you smell like their fecal matter?" A bald-faced lie, but the puppet's blank expression gives nothing away as he taunts. "Get washed-up or become a wash-up," the puppet seems to say.
"Kuku! That reminds me, now is a fine time to get some answers straight. Tell me, have you already learned about the Summoning Technique.. and if so, have you signed any contracts before?" He waits for a reply, and then carries on with additional inquiries. "There are many contracts out in the world, just waiting to be signed and by the same token, many animals awaiting a chance to show their worth. What has drawn you to this particular contract?"
"And more importantly, what does a summoning animal mean to you?"

"Shishishi, this is fun!" Shouts Luffy as he is being dragged across the floor, his arm continuing to stretch in the process while his body picked up dust from the ground. The soothing sound of the running water from the river calmed the rubber-man, it sounded like home sweet home. Suddenly, the rubber-man was thrown into the water. The relaxing noise of the water running down the river had completed drowned out his teacher's rude remark. Like a kid in a candy store, Luffy began flopping uncontrollably inside of the river, causing water to be splashed everywhere.

Luffy halts his splashing as he sees his teacher's lips continuing to move. It seemed it was time to listen carefully. Still carrying an overwhelming expression of joy on his face, he listened. For a second, his split personality had taken hold of Luffy's body. The "entity" was named Jet.

was Luffy's inner manifestation, his evil and tactical skill-set, his animalistic instincts in its entirety.
"I've signed the legendary Hydra Contract and I am also well versed in the art of summoning tools as well as various objects through Medical Ninjutsu."
A silent pause carries through the air shortly after Jet's reply as he readies himself to respond once more.
"Animals are just a means to an end, nothing more, nothing less. They are but a stepping stone for my goals to be achieved."
Jet's nature was as cold as ever, nothing had changed. Just like he had flipped in, a groan escaped his mouth as he rubbed his stomach, the rubber-man was obviously hungry. Although during states on hunger, Jet would be able to escape and control Luffy, in this particular case, the sudden requirement for food snapped the real Luffy back into reality. It happened like the flip of a switch, just in time to answer the teacher's last question. "I don't see them as an animal, but as my nakama, my partners and companions! I want to befriend everyone around the world! Monkeys are so fun, I love how they play around the forest, and swing from tree to tree." the old personality had returned to reality.
Cracker wasn't too sure what to think of Luffy. His dubiety came not from any single answer, but due to there being two polarizing sets of answers stated aloud; he sounds like a schizo.. "I gotta say.. I'm a bit skeptical about you. You'd be better off adhering to the latter mentality. Either way, I choose to see the glass half full instead of half empty. And if you squander this, then I'll be the least of your concerns, so don't forget that."
From within his hollowed puppet, he removes the summoning contract from its hiding place. He has the puppet go through the motions of regurgitating it, bringing it fully into plain view. "This here is the contract that you'll have to sign in order to be able to summon the monkeys from the land they inhabit," he says whilst unfurling the scroll now held within his right hand. The content of the scroll, stained in blood, presents a list of all the contract signers' names, arranged in chronological order. In total, there're are seven signers.
