[Question] Monkey D. Dragon

I feel like Dragon's tattoo pattern on his face is not just a tattoo. I almost looks along the lines of either a devil fruit pattern or possible indications that He is one of the ancient weapons and thats how it manifests itself.

There is nothing to suggest that monkey d dragon is ancient weapon himself and it associated with his tattoo.

Although, a popular theory is that when dragon left the marines, he got that tattoo to represent freedom and creation of the revolutionary army to reveal the world governments ill doing during the void century and in recent activity as well.

Don't get me wrong, not hating on you. In fact, Dragon is one of my favourites in onepice.

I don't see a person like Dragon getting that tattoo just to look cool. It's Oda, he can very well give a deeper meaning to that mark on his face.
Although I think to have it was probably his own choice and not something someone else gave him.

Well he didn't have them during Roger's excuetion. And at that time he looked like he was already starting the whole gathering the army stuff. Sooo probably a symbol of a sort.
