Unbeknownst to the man, whom seemed to be about Koumei's age, he was actually not the first to arrive. Indeed, high up in a nearby tree, Koumei laid casually whilst eating an apple. After taking a moment to size up who he figured to be his newest student, he called out: "Yo, glad you could make it." Tossing what remained of his tasty apple away, he effortlessly descended from the tree to stand about two meters away from the new arrival, facing him. "I doubt it's a coincidence, but I do feel obligated to confirm, are you Ryuu? I received a message not too long ago; it requested my mentorship regarding the Monkey Contract. If you're indeed him, we can dive right into the training session!"

Waiting on the grassy terrain with his arms crossed in a brooding manner, Ryuu who seeming lost in his thoughts, is back to focus as he hears a voice calling out to him. Relaxing his posture, he turns toward the source of the voice to see a man who's age close to himself, introducing himself as the mentor he was waiting for, and then affirms his identity. "Yes I am indeed Ryuu. Thank you for accepting my request, I am ready to begin"

"Well, as a monkey shishou, I feel it is my personal obligation to assist those seeking the Monkey Contract. Now, that being said, I do have a few questions for you. First, are you familiar with the Summoning Technique (generic) and learned how to use it? Second, what does a summoning mean to you, in your own words? Third, I want to know why, in particular, you seek the Monkey Contract. Lastly, describe yourself with just three different adjectives. These questions are merely to gauge your intents, as well as your personality." Koumei patiently stands by, awaiting a response.

I always felt monkeys are between the lines of man and beast, or at least they're closest to that line. Therefore they are important to reach an understanding between the two, which is why I wish for the Monkey contract. I'd like to describe myself as firm, composed and sharp." He answered firmly.

How long do you see yourself with this particular contract, if I may ask? o_o
"Good, I'm pleased to hear your answers.It's always nice to meet someone else whose interested in the monkeys and soon, your endeavors will be rewarded." No longer speaking, Koumei instead removed a large scroll from within his robe. "Well, this is the scroll that contains all the signers of the Monkey Contract. I need you to draw a bit of your own blood, just enough to write your name out, with the hand you'll tend to summon with. Once you've signed the contract, we can move onto the next and most exciting phase: techniques!" With care, Koumei moved to open the scroll in front of his person, facing his student, however. On the scroll, at least three names could already be seen written in dried blood, from right to left (oldest to most recent): Hiruzen Sarutobi, Koumei Ren, and Kirikoe Katsuryoku.

As long as I can hopefully, if I have to drop a contract I'll probably drop toad since I want to move on to Eight Gates.
Observing as his shishou prepares the contract scroll, a process reminiscent to him as he remembers signing his first contract. Refocusing at the scroll before him, he noticed that they're not many names tied to this contract, which he was pleased to see. Removing his right glove, he bites the usual spot his right thumb, reopening the wound letting red warm blood drip slightly from it. He couches down on one knee matching his height to the scroll and writes his name with his bloody thumb on a blank spot next to Kirikoe. "All done." Standing back up.

You'll be performing the following technique. Read it carefully, please (especially bolded bits).
With a chuckle, as Koumei observes his newest student finish adding his name to the contract, he deftly grabs the contract scroll and conceals it, once again, in his robes. "Splendid. Now, since you've just prior signed the Monkey Contract and aren't properly acquainted with it quite yet, I want you to perform the generic summoning technique. Once you've actually gotten your feet wet with the contract, then and only then, shall I let you meet the 'boss'. As you may recall, you'll need to smear some blood on the hand you signed the contract with and then perform the following sequence of hand-seals: Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram, before placing the very same on the ground near your person and releasing the chakra. Unlike with your other contract, whatever it may be, your goal will be to envision their physical characteristics and behavior, just as you proceed to initiate the summoning technique. The little guy/girl won't be particularly strong, but that's not to say they aren't useful. Now, go ahead and give it a shot, okay?"

"Got it." Smearing his bloody thumb on his hand, Ryuu proceeds to weave a sequence of handseals; Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram. He closes his eyes, imagining on what his summon would be like before reopening them and slamming his blood hand on the ground releasing a moderate level of chakra. As the white puff of smoke clears up, he could see a dark brown furry medium sized primate about the height of Ryuu's waist. The monkey wearing a red robe, crosses his arms as it active looks around trying understand his sudden change of location. Not long he looks up to the man before him, Ryuu an unfamiliar face to him."Oh? Who are you suppose to be?"Before Ryuu could answer, the ape notices Koumei behind him which at the moment gain some clarity."Ah, I see...""Correct, I'm a new contractor. My name is Ryuu, I look forward to working with you." "Well, it isn't often we get new contract so forgive my demeanour. You can call me Fujino."

As Koumei observed his student correctly perform the Summoning Technique and subsequent cloud of smoke dispersed to reveal a young monkey, Koumei couldn't help but smile. "Yes, Fujino, it's not too often one signs the Monkey Contract; take care of him, okay? Now, what's say we move on now?" Swiftly weaving a sequence of hand-seals: Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram, Koumei directs a moderate amount of chakra towards Ryuu, which affects his student's nervous system via chakra distortion. "You've done well so far, but now things are going to get rough, my student." The moment the illusion is induced, Koumei will disappear from sight as several bean vines emerge from the ground around and beneath Ryuu to completely restrict movement. To complete the illusion, a bean pod rises up and reveals what appears to be Koumei, himself, even though he hasn't moved at all. From that illusionary representation of Koumei, the following statement is made: "So, what will you do now, my student? Choose wisely.."

Noticing his teacher proclaim the next part of his training, he watches as Koumei weaves 4 hand seals. The moment he finishes casting his technique, Ryuu witnesses his mentor vanish into thin air, as well as taking notice of vines emerging from the ground to bind him."What the?!"As he struggles, a plant that is what seems to be a pod, rises infront of him before opening up, revealing to be his vanished mentor. However looking over to his side, he could see Fujino with no vines binding him and having a confused expression."Hey new guy, are you ok?"Ryuu responds as best he could to his current predicament."T-the vines....""Vines? There are no vines around here"The young monkey scratches his head in confusion as he inspects his surrounds. If Fujino can't see them, then the most likely conclusion he can come to is that he's under an illusion. "It must be genjutsu then......hit me.." "Are you sure? Hmm...well, if you say so...."The monkey puts his foot behind the other, readying his fighting stance and sends a kick straight to Ryuu's left shin, inflicting pain to break free of Koumei's genjutsu and then drops to one knee, to catch his breathe.

Please, read Enma's summoning technique carefully.
Generic summonings can't use techniques. A freeform kick would've sufficed and saved you a move. [

"Ah, I apologize for the spontaneity of that particular 'demonstration', shall we call it. Indeed, never underrate a resource, especially one as intelligent as a monkey! You said summonings were to be 'an ally, a friend, a pact shows that life can achieve equality and unwavering bond of trust', which I must state is totally the point of having such ninjutsu. Good job! Now, your summonings can be used for more than illusion-dispersing. They can be a second set of eyes and ears or serve well as varied means of distractions in the midst of combat. Now, then, it's time to reveal the boss of the monkeys! First, I will summon him, myself. His name is Enma and I want you to take note of his abilities and characteristics before actually summoning him, yourself. Consider this a 'Meet and Greet'." Without further ado, Koumei bit his right thumb and proceeded to summon Enma, right in front of Ryuu. "Enma, this man before you is yet another new contract signer and he wishes to make your acquaintance. He shows promise in the career of a ninja and your skills can be of great service. Now, my student, do you have anything you wish to say to him?" Enma, the Monkey King, simply gazes intently at Ryuu, waiting, whilst Koumei sits down for the time being.

When the time came for Koumei to perform the summoning, Ryuu was finally ready to meet the King Of Monkeys. As the white puff clears, he could see a humanoid shape slightly larger than an average human, stepping out of the smoke. He features started to become apparent; long white fur from the head, side burns and long tail, his clothing consists of black mesh armour underneath, over which he wears a sleeveless kimono shirt with white fur trimmings, and markings reminiscent of tiger stripes on it which is held closed by a red sash on his waist. With Koumei giving an introduction, there was a rippling silence the moment he finished, nothing but Enma gazing upon Ryuu. Breaking the silence, Ryuu introduces himself; "My name is Ryuu, I look forward to working with you in the near future, your experience and skill in battle would be a great aid to me."Ryuu extends his hand forward for a handshake, with Enma brushing his goatee with a musing expression before accepting his gesture."Hmm....likewise young man."

The technique used to summon Enma is the very same technique I posted previously. Like the vast majority, if not all summonings, the range in which he may be called forth is limited to short-range. Even so, that does not mean that Enma must stay within short-range of you, as he can move freely once he's been summoned to the field (any range).
Once he's been summoned, we step into a more 'direct' approach to learning the rest of the techniques. There shouldn't be any intent to kill, nor are you expected to utilize techniques beyond those of the contract for this method. In essence, we will be simulating a spar. That said, feel free to use the canon taijutsu list when attacking with Enma.
Description will be paramount to all following posts from this point on. The bulk of what we do will be taijutsu and bukijutsu (weapon techniques) orientated. Make sure everything is coherent, and that there're no ridiculously long run-on sentences. I want as much, if not more effort in this phase than in your Tobirama Test. I expect great things from you.
With Koumei still patiently sitting down, both he and his student heard Enma's continued reply to the introduction. "You're a fair bit older than the last one to sign the contract, but still, you act like a greenhorn when it comes to these things. Wisdom comes from understanding." With Enma evidently done with the introduction, Koumei rose and at the same time had Enma 'dispel' with a puff of smoke. "Once again, it's my turn to speak, so let's cover Enma's strengths now. The first thing you should've observed, aside from his being a monkey, is his actual figure. He's a hulking brute, no? Undoubtedly, Enma's most defining qualities are his strength and speed. He's physically our superior and could break either of our necks with but a single hand. Exacerbating his already remarkable lethality, though, Enma is able to use the bulk of mainstream physical attacks labelled as taijutsu. Moreover, he's notably faster than either of us, which means his assaults will come quicker, as so too will his reflexes. The last 'strength' I'd like to mention, is also perhaps the most underrated. Enma is fairly old, but he has a particularly keen mind. He's fully capable of serving as an adviser of sorts and you should not hesitate to defer to his instincts or statements when issues arise. Finally, with all of the aforementioned qualities laid out before you, I just wanna say that Enma's a great partner; you should value him."

Taking note of all the valuable information Koumei has said, Ryuu continues to the next step by drawing his blood like he had previously had done and concentrates on the King's appearance. In a white puff of smoke, Enma reappears to Ryuu's right. "Well then, I suppose you're ready to proceed."

Enma is a close-quarter-combat specialist, boasting incredible raw power and speed. Still, there are foes to be wary of whom also are considered such. In no particular order, they are: Raikage bios (3rd/4th), Tsunade/Sakura/Hashirama bios (also boasting as much phsyical might), and Kaguya bios (as you can probably understand). Keep them in mind! Also, be wary against adversaries whom attempt to maintain a distanced fight, namely people seeking mid/long-range engagements. Finally, as I've demonstrated, genjutsu users are a risk, depending on the technique or user's skill. Any questions regarding strengths/weaknesses?

With the arrival of Enma, once again but now by his student's side, Koumei prepared his own summoning technique. Drawing blood once again from the thumb of his right hand, instead of visualizing Enma, he instead opted for another comrade: Vinea. "As you'll soon come to see, Enma does have his strengths, but also weaknesses (readily exploitable characteristics). Prepare yourself!" Without waiting another moment, Koumei released a large amount of chakra and proceeded to call forth Vinea, through space-time, to assist him in his teaching. "Welcome to the field, Vinea. Before your very eyes is the newest addition to the list of Monkey Signers, his name is Ryuu-kun." In response to Koumei's words, Vinea replied with: "Oh? I knew his face was unfamiliar, though it's always nice to see my king's." Without hesitation, Vinea bowed before Enma. "Will I be serving you as Amon did for training with your last student? He said he had quite some fun.. " Listening to his partner speak, Koumei couldn't resist smiling. "Yes, my plan is to follow along similarly to what I did with Kirikoe-kun You remember him, right? Only time will tell how comparable this session is though.." No longer speaking, Koumei made just a single hand-seal before releasing a portion of his chakra out towards both Ryuu and Enma. Immediately upon having their nervous systems disrupted by the foreign chakra, they'll be induced to an illusion in which all is pitch-black to their eyes. "Right, first up for Enma's weaknesses: genjutsu! Obviously Enma is quite capable, but what if he were induced especially to a binding illusion? You see, Enma has no capacity to use most ninjutsu, basic or elemental. His only means of escape from an illusion is via injuring himself, or getting assistance from you, yet there's the possibility of both of you being induced to one or more illusions. This time, I shall disperse the illusion, but do not get accustomed to such rare occurrences! Learn from experience!"
"Now, next up for Enma's weaknesses are once again related to his abilities. This time, the topic for discourse will be range! If all Enma can utilize is taijutsu (hand-to-hand combat), how then can he defend against a blade of wind or large fireball? He can't! Rest assured that Enma is nearly unsurpassed in close-quarters, but he's still got to actually get within punching/kicking reach, which is far from being an easy endeavor! Do not fear, though, as we've already concluded, that just means Enma should be used in engagements where you know his power is to your advantage."

With his introduction to Vinea, Koumei began the next part of the lesson by casting a genjutsu upon him and Enma, filling their vision pitch black. In the darkness, there was nothing but the echoing sound of Koumei's voice cautioning him about the limits of Enma which Ryuu took note of. With the end of the illusion, his mentor continues his teachings and by the end; asks a question for Ryuu which he quickly answered: "Transformation is the basic technique a ninja has at his disposal, granting the ability to literally change themselves to different things, from an animals to a plants and even inanimated objects."

The adamantine staff is essentially indestructible, but Enma prior to transforming is not. Moreover, you can't use the staff to freeform block ranked techniques (bar taijutsu and kenjutsu), which means you'll still need to counter or defend/evade. That all being said, his monkey form is immune to low-level taijutsu and ninjutsu techniques (D/C). Of course, also take note that the staff can freely extend short to long-range, without expending a move. To a lesser extent (short/mid-range), this freeform extensibility also applies to when Enma has his limbs or whatever emerge. Please expand upon your descriptions/wording in the RP segment.

Listening intently to all that his student said, Koumei contemplated it all, before nodding his head in agreement. "Earlier I'd said that Enma had an inability to use the vast majority of ninjutsu techniques, however, that implies that there are some that he can use. In regards to transformation technique, your current partner happens to have his own unique transformation technique. If you wish to properly use Enma's strengths to your advantages, you must be prepared to utilize his technique to its fullest extent. Now, Enma-san, please show your new partner, Ryuu-kun, what differentiates you from other summonings, bar others of your own kind (customs)." In response to Koumei's request, Enma glanced towards Ryuu and spoke: "Fine, I'll transform now, but you better catch me once it's complete, greenhorn." As soon as Enma had concluded his words, he disappeared in a puff of smoke, only to reveal an adamantine staff! Perhaps two meters in the air, the staff began to slowly twirl towards Ryuu's person. "Bukijutsu! Bukijutsu! Know it! Oh, and I'd listen to Enma, if I were you..", was all Koumei said, with a smirk. Vinea, standing by Koumei, tried to suppress her giggling.

Ryuu listens to his mentor as he laid out the information concerning Enma's capability to perform ninjutsu, learning that he could use a transformation technique. As Koumei finishes, Ryuu turns to Enma who earnestly asks to catch him, prompting Ryuu to ready himself, putting his foot slightly apart. The King quickly disappears leaving nothing but a white puff of smoke, but Ryuu's attention was drawn from above where he notices a black staff few short meters high falling towards him. Stretching his right arm upward, the staff lands perfectly on his palm as Ryuu grips it and proceeds to give it a twirl, spinning it side to side. Marvelling at how surprisingly light the staff was comparatively than what he had imagined, Ryuu couldn't help but to show his tribute. "This staff transformation is indeed remarkable, I never seen anything like this"

Remember, unlike Vinea's transformation, Enma's staff form lacks a blade of any sort. All attacks utilizing the staff should be described as 'strikes' or 'thrusts', though both are to be regarded as bukijutsu dealing 'blunt force' trauma.
With a reasonable streaming technique, it's possible to at least temporarily enhance the weapon. The nature of the technique should lend itself accordingly to the type of weapon. For example, my trident can properly utilize enhancement moves, such as: Wind Release: Vacuum Blade and Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current.
Answer: It's essentially indestructible, but can't be used to freeform block such things.
Witnessing Enma transform and his student proceeding to deftly manipulate the adamantine staff, Koumei was impressed enough to momentarily clap. "Good, so far, everything has gone according to plan. Now, I want to make sure you can properly wield the staff via freeform bukijutsu. Vinea, please transform too." With a low bow, followed by a devious smile, Vinea complied with a puff of smoke. Unlike Enma's transformation, though, the weapon to emerge was an adamantine trident. With no apparent effort, Koumei deftly caught the adamantine weapon in his right hand. Manifesting her mouth along the trident, Vinea spoke: "It's been awhile since I've been in this form. I'll do my best!" Koumei replied in turn, with: "See, that's why I like you more than Amon. Just don't tell him I said that!" Drawing his gaze away from his trident, Koumei looked towards his standing student with a new level of intensity. "Defend and counterattack!" roared Koumei, as he swiftly thrusted his adamantine weapon forward. At the same moment Koumei began his thrust, Vinea adjusted her length so as to have the triple points reach Ryuu and Enma, whom were both 2 meters away, in front. Failure to properly defend the attack would result in being partially impaled.

Remember, unlike Vinea's transformation, Enma's staff form lacks a blade of any sort. All attacks utilizing the staff should be described as 'strikes' or 'thrusts', though both are to be regarded as bukijutsu dealing 'blunt force' trauma. With a reasonable streaming technique, it's possible to at least temporarily enhance the weapon. The nature of the technique should lend itself accordingly to the type of weapon. For example, my trident can properly utilize enhancement moves, such as: Wind Release: Vacuum Blade and Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current. Answer: It's essentially indestructible, but can't be used to freeform block such things.
