Money is a Type-1 (global) bartering system. Money is much more useful than trading husks of corn for a slab of beef. Money is great! I like the coins myself. You know where we shouldn't have money in? The electoral process, especially the big ones. Money talks these days, and when votes are indirectly bought through advertisements and whatnot, it doesn't seem as democratic as this nation could be.

Pennies! Copper pennies are great. You can soak them in a solution to make silver and gold pennies! Nickels suck.
