Could it be that Momonosuke's DF is the key to another Ancient Weapon just like the mermaid princess from Fishman Island?
Momonosuke's DF is an artificial Zoan type DF (version Dragon)
You know how powerful a dragon can be if the user is adult and had control over his DF.
Plus it's unclear whether Doflamingo is after Momonosuke (before he ate the DF) or his DF abilities.
Could it be that Kaido ordered Doflamingo for a special artificial DF which is a Dragon version? But that experiment failed as mentioned in onepiece wikia

Momonosuke ate Vegapunk's man-made Zoan-type Devil Fruit that was considered a failure.

How about this?
The failed fruit was still preserved.
As we know, Momo ate it.
Doflamingo/CC got to see the results of the failed fruit through Momonosuke into Dragon form.
And hence now they are after him for the DF. (As Nami said about the three cards, Momonosuke is one of them)

Nah, but i do think thars the most powerful artificial fruit. Not to mentioned some how it conected to doflamingo, i mean he can telepathically talks to momonsuke.

He's way to young for that,even if we get another 2 year ts he would still be like 9 or 10 and if he wanted to be a part of PKs crew he would need to be about as strong as luffy at the start and if some 10 yo kid is that much more powerful than a 17 yo luffy (who is the PK) we have a problem

Since Vegapunk made that particular DF I doubt Kaido ordered DD to create it.

There sure is a connection between DD and Momo but I think that derives from Kaido. There's always the possibility that Kaido or DD want Momo for something related to Wano. Don't forget the tree of them, Momo, Kiemon and the other samurai which his name I don't recall now, left Wano for a mission. Also, the consumption of the DF by Momonosuke seems to be accidental so far and if Caesar, Doflamingo or Kaido were aware of it's powers it would sure be guarded better.

Finally, I don't think Momonosuke is connected to an ancient weapon because I believe that something that was made artificially can't be connected with something so important in the series. Not to mention that ancient weapons are still an unknown power, even in the OP world, so I don't see how Vegapunk would have the knowledge to create something connected to them.

I think mingo can connect with all artificial df he created because his original plan is to take down kaido with that power.because lot of kaido crew members using artificial df so mingo can control them and can easily takedown kaido

Yep thats true may be momonuske is the only artificial df he can connect so he want to know about secret about the df which vegapunk created.then he can creat his own df army

I believe that the fruit he ate wasn't a failure, or maybe that Momonosuke is 1 out of a million freak that happened and Doflamingo wants to capture him and do tests on him so that he can note the reason why it succeeded on Momonosuke. And then start making them in mass for Kaido and earn big money.

I do think one of the ancient weapons is a DF.
But Dragons DF.
