It is an innate potential in the Senjus, only Hashirama was able to awaken it (for the sake of plot expediency) and yes the Younger Son has it too that I am certain since he is the original embodiment of the Yang power. The Elder and Younger Sons of the Sage were creations with Banbutsu Sōzō much like the Bijuus.

So its basically luck that Hashirama has it according to you?
Or you dont have an idea what could make Hashirama awake it?

For the sake of plot expediency he was given it, you could say it's because he's the noblest and most compassionate among the Senjus hence the Shinsūsenju the Buddha of Compassion. Lemme read it wait

Ok I've read it, the Uzumakis are a non-factor in awakening Mokuton because their progenitor were the Ōtsutsukis not the Younger Son.

Yeah, so basically the cosmos, nature or some special force could have blessed him with the ability (maybe in time of need), only given to the most noble of the younger son line and only given to one person (not more than one alive with the ability), which could explain how rare it is.

Hashirama possessed Mokuton, due to flowing with tremendous life force enabling him to use Yōton to bring Mokuton as living object. Along with the unique Chakra and Doton&Suiton, he is the only Senju able to use Mokuton. Other than Hashirama, Younger son, Rikudou Sennin and Juubi all have Mokuton.

I know what the requirements for Mokuton are.
What iam interested in are people their ideas on how
to achieve Mokuton.

For example one idea could be that mokuton could be blessed by nature, the cosmos or some other special force to the most noble one of the younger son line (maybe in time of need).
That it only allows one mokuton user at a time which would explain how rare it is.

I will put this message in the opening post as well to make the goal of the topic more clear.
