Minato jumps from tree to tree as he makes his way deep into the forest, there an important student awaits. Hashirama, the creator of the KG himself, however, it seemed that he had forgotten how to use it. It was all up the 4th Hokage to teach him it again. Minato only has a bag on his back, which contains a fair amount of scrolls. With a welcoming face, Minato looks at Hashirama.
"Hello there, Shodaime. Now I know you made the KG, but I want you to tell me everything you know about it, strengths and weaknesses, and why you want to learn it once more?"

Wood Release or other known as Mokuton, is a KG which consists of two versatile elements which are Earth and Water. By having his earth chakra in one hand, and water chakra in the other, the user can produce a solid element which is wood. Wood Release can rely heavily on shape manipulation, as you need to give them branche-like shapes and sharpened points to strike the enemy. It excels at both defending and offensing, given the fact it can be produced from anywhere, i.e from the ground, or even from the user's body. When using Wood, user's chakra is converted to a source of life.
Wood's strong to Bijuu Chakra, Earth and Water, whereas weak to Lightning and neutral to fire.
I want to learn this whole new aspect because I see it as very versatile which can be pretty much infinite tasking in a battle. It can defend you and also attack an opponent, simultaneously. It's also made up of two elements which I like and can become deadly.

Gathering water/earth chakra simultaneously around both my arms, I clap them, releasing out a loud sound which would give birth to a pole of wood emerging from my hip. The shape of the pole was very simple actually. Its tip was pretty sharp, followed by a strong and solid like body. This wooden attack would severely cut through your clone's bowels, resulting in rendering him unconscious.

These projectiles are capable of inflicting very little pain, but can be extremely precise and thus deliver a killing blow. They can be made short to long range, which makes 'em very useful and of course, no hand seals are needed to make them. Use them on my clone."

"Alright, next technique in line is simple. You will focus your Wood based chakra to either the ground or your hands. From it, you will use shape manipulation to create three to four kunai sized projectiles. Hashirama smiles at the young shinobi's attempts to be as polite as possible towards a living legend like him. He tilted his head to refresh his thoughts and replied. "No need for this much respect, Yondaime. You are in the same level as me, now."

Hashirama manipulates his wood chakra and after releasing it gives it a form of a training dummy, with a cilinder-ish head a'nd body limbs. Having complete control of this little guy, Hashirama orders him towards the incoming clone. Moku-Jin (lets call him that) dodges an imaginary clone punch and reacts by headbutting him away, resulting in the disappearence of the Youndaime clone.
"Now Minato, really good observation on his appearence. This guy really looks like him. Now onto the actgual abilities of his, this is just a pretty much useless "clone" who can only freeform. I believe he can not use wood release (D ranked) or manipulate chakra at all. His purpose is just being a doll for trainees after all.

After Minato finished talking, Hashirama moulded his water and earth chakra and the result was the wood energy. Shaping it to spring underneath, while performing Bird → Dog → Snake handseals, the wood branches cover Hashirama's body. Slowly, the wood cover was taking another appearence, identical to Fourth's. BOOM, now we have two minatos.
Alright, firstly sorry for late reply. You know my case. Onto this technique, it's pretty basic which doesn't play any good role on actual battles. It can be used in NW events to fool enemies and spy.

Taking up a fight stance as the opponent dashes towards me, an idea comes to my mind. To stop this furious run of him, I knead my wood chakra and channel it underground, shaping it in three tree branches which would spring from underneath. Two first branches would grab tight of their legs, and the third one would aim for his neck and strangle him to death, until the clone will disappear away.
This is the basic wood technique right? If so, then it's a very neat one, as its uses are limited to your imagination only. Though the rank is lacking, and it can be pretty useful in battles, as it can hinder enemy's intentions and you use the smallest amount of chakra. If you use it wisely though, it can be dangerous for the opponent, although its rank. (Ie aiming for vital spots)

As this staggers the opponent, you will form your left arm into a pillar of Wood, that extends towards the ground, and gives you support to kick the opponent under the chin with your leg, as the weight of your body is supported by said pillar. Use it against my clone."

Seeing the clone rushing towards my location, I make use of my wood chakra and channel it in the ground, whilst shaping said chakra in the form of a wood pillar which thrusts the enemy up, while also causing some damage cause of the sudden impact. the clone is sent airborne with fractured five right fractured metatarsuses.
You can literally play voleyball with this technique cause u can use this while the enemy is falling knocked out in the ground. Basic technique though, rank is crappy and doesn't do much. Probably wouldnt use but its nice nonetheless

The clone forwards a water based attack towards Hashirama, who was quickly moved to action. He moulded his Wood chakra and raised a wooden shield which consisted of three parts. This said shield took care of the water effortlessly, and afterwards Hashirama made it go by adjusting it back.

After that, form the Ram → Ox → Boar → Snake hand seals, and manipulate your Wood based chakra as you send it into the ground before you. You will then create a wooden prison, made of timber. This prison can be adjusted to your liking, in terms of size, which means you can fully constrict the opponent, or allow him some space to walk around in. The timber itself is laced with your chakra. Use it against my clone."

Hashirama performs Snake → Rat → Ox → Ram → Snake handseals whilst simultaneously manipulating his wood chakra, and "summons" a wooden house which raises gradually, shaking the ground a little. Hashirama then enters and watches his teacher from a window.
lol, to actually use this technique for defensive purposes would be ridiculous. I've seen this technqiue used in NW though, and if it comes to it, I will too. Who wouldnt want a nice warm house to sleep in?

Nice one i must say. It is acutally very handy with all the adjusting ability. This way you can trap one to several enemies, or make it small enough to restrict one's movements completely. Lightning techs can easily shatter through it doe
