Because it's pretty badass. 
This is release is very versitle, I can use it for trapping ppl, attacking, defending.
and with wood I have a big advantage against water and earth, because I know that wood> water and eartg.
Wood is also strong against bijuu chakra, so another reason for me wanting to learn it, and I want to learn wood because it's Hashi's KG and Hashi is just friggin awesome!

Wood Pole Combo

This tech is pretty self explanatory. You grow a thin pole of wood from either the ground of from your body. The pole can be used as a weapon or you can throw it at your opponent for a distraction. So grow a pole and give me a small free form combo against me.

I gathered my Suiton and Doton chakra and mixed them together. I created mokuton chakra and focussed very good on it. I channelled the mokuton chakra into my hands, concentrated and I released it in the ground. I manipulated the mokuton chakra and caused a thin pole of wood to be created and rising out of the ground. I grabbed the wood pole... I punched you with my left arm, and I turned around while I was giving you a high kick with my left leg, and when my foot came back on the ground, I hit your face with the wood pole very hard, I was holding with my left hand, and pucnhed you again, hit you again a few times with the polem and after that I threw the pole and missed on purpose for distraction, and I used kamehameha on you

The advantage of this tech is you don't have to take time and reach into your ninja pouch but it does take up a jutsu slot. So using your mokuton chakra, channel it into each hand and create two kunai. Then throw them at me.

I am gathering my suiton chakra and doton chakra, and I start to combine them. I created the mokuton chakra. I focuss very good and release the mokuton chakra and start to manipulate it. I add some chakra and start using my shaoe manipulation. I am creating a man dummy out of the mokuton chakra, and after it's completed I started to fight with him. I kicked him in the b*lls he doesn't have, and kicked him in the face. I jumped very high, did a front summersault and landed behind him, I grabbed his arm, pulled them towards my self and kicked him in his back. His arms were ripped off. I did my kamehameha and the wooden man even vanished!

I am channelling it into my feet. I concentrate on it and I release the mokuton chakra into the ground and I'm starting to manipulate it. I cause wood pillers to raise out of the ground, and I add some chakra to it to manipulate the wood pillars and attach them to my skin, and giving them a shape I want. I am still manipulating the wood pillars around me and on my skin, and I got the shape of this chick:

transofrm myself into the opponent. so the opponent thinks that I'm one of his clones, and secretely I will fap and do the harlemshake I'll attack the opponent while he thinks that I'm his clone, and he's like Oh fck!

I created some wood pillars which rose out of the ground beneath the feet of the dummy and lifted the dummy into the air. When he was into the air, I sent a fire ball towards him. Since he was in the air, and he can't perform jutsus, he couldn't really avoid this.
