The size of the prison is based on the user's imagination. From an insect cage to a great prison, one can make it into whatever they want by regulating the amount of chakra used. The timber itself is treated with a chakra coating, making its destruction extremely difficult. During war, it has the great ability to detain prisoners, but it can also be used as a disciplinary measure for quarrelling subordinates.

"The next technique on our list, starts off by using your Wood based chakra to create a pillar of wood from beneath the opponent, that blasts the opponent into the air. As the opponent is lifted into the air, you will form your arm into a pillar of wood, that you then sue to slam the opponent back into the first pillar, essentially breaking the opponent's back. Upon hearing the quite simple instructions, Hashi gathers his wood chakra in himself as he releases it to the ground below the clone creating a wooden pillar to forcefully emerge from the ground to send it flying upwards. As I dart towards it, I channel chakra from my body to my arm and use nature manipulation to release a pole of wood from my arm. As I jump above, I slam my arm on the gut of the clone sending him back to the first pillar.
Without rest, Hashi simply creates wooden stacks emerge from the ground in the form of thin singluar stacks that trap the clone easily.
"The first technique is a combo that can be used in a variety to ways. It acts as a good countering measure as well as taking off some steam from the battle. It can also be fatal if done correct, however, can also be intercepted easily. The second one is a simple lower rank trapping technique. "

"Now the next technique is also another entrapping type of technique where you will manipulate your Wood based chakra to form a semi-circle around your target. Then from within the semi-circle, you will cause spikes to erupt and pierce the opponent causing them to be trapped even more. Use it against my clone."

"A simple technique which you can use to hold your opponent whilst a clone delivers the killing blow. You will use your Wood based chakra, to form your arms into tendrils of wood that rushes towards the opponent and wraps around them, constricting their movement. A nice technique in my opinion, use it against my clone."
